"We recently stayed at Radisson Blu Fiji as a family of four. Overall we had a nice stay, but there were a few areas that were disappointing compared to other resorts we’ve stayed at in Fiji. On arrival the experience felt a little underwhelming. We noticed other guests being offered welcome drinks and cold towels, but we were not, which didn’t make for the warm welcome we expected. The pool facilities are fantastic and definitely a highlight of the resort. The activities team were wonderful and really took the time to engage with the kids, and the water sports crew were great fun. Unfortunately, the food was underwhelming, especially after previously staying at the InterContinental Fiji where the dining was far superior. We also experienced confusion around the 20% discount we were told about at check-in for food, beverages and spa treatments. It wasn’t clearly explained that this only applied to certain items, and when we queried our bill we received different information from different staff members. Based on our calculations we should have received around $100 FJD back but were only refunded $50 FJD. Another disappointment was returning to our room at 8:30pm one evening to find it hadn’t been serviced. We were offered for someone to come at that time but there wasn’t really an apology. While the resort has great facilities and excellent activity staff, clearer communication and more consistent service would have made the stay much better."

"This resort was amazing! The Fijian staff are truly the best! They are the warmest, friendliest and kind people we have ever met! Kudos to the training of the Sheraton staff. They were absolutely on top of things. The front desk checked in often to see how our stay was going and if we needed anything. Through the restaurants staff member’s serenaded guest for birthdays and departures and their voices were special. We had the buffet all inclusive and the food was varied at excellent. Sunset ever night was amazing! Highly recommend this hotel."

"My husband and I traveled to Fiji from Sydney and stayed for 5 nights at the Hilton. We booked a beachfront room- the view from the room was amazing. The resort has a spa, gym, 3 main restaurants and 1 for snacks. There is a buggy service through the resort every 5 minutes, since the resort is around 2.5 km big. This service makes moving around very convenient. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. The spa services and food were on the expensive side, but that’s how everything on Denarau Island is. We would highly recommend a stay at the Hilton."

"This resort is a beautiful, quiet, near perfect place to relax, if you can overlook a few short comings. We stayed in the beachfront bure with plunge pool, and I highly recommend it. The ocean is very calm, the waves crash about 100 yards onto the reef and very few waves reached the shore. There is coral and sea life everywhere. When the tide is high it is chest deep, good for swimming and kayaking, and when the tide is low, you can walk very far out and look at the sea life. The property is very well maintained and very natural with palm trees and coconuts lying every where. The staff can call you a car and it’s a short drive to nearby shopping and restaurants and the driver will wait in town until you are ready to head back. The short comings I mentioned are mostly the staff and the food. The staff means well and are very nice, but could do much better. For instance, it took three days of asking to get a tv remote. We were pretty disappointed in the food and the fact that between the waitresses and cooks, they often didn’t get our orders right. We bought some snacks in town and skipped a few meals at the restaurant. We also learned that the snacks on their menu were better than their main dishes. Having said all of this, we would definitely stay here again because we don’t let a few issues ruin a great stay. We loved that it wasn’t crowded and has no kids. It felt completely fine to sunbathe and swim at our bure with or without clothes. It’s a 90 minute ride to Nadi airprt"
