Certainly not 4-star luxury experience. Many things could have been overlooked, such as the old plastic cups for the bar, the disgusting drinks that are included with the all inclusive bar, the extremely loud music that is played on a loop right outside of your room at the pool, the people from the spa constantly walking around trying to upsell you while you're lying on your loungers attempting to relax.. but what can't be overlooked is the food, the cleanliness, the bugs and the room quality. I traveled with a baby and after a 2 day flight he was ready to move about, but to my horror after I let him crawl on the floor he was covered in BLACK. The laundry service could not get the stain out (for which I paid) and I couldn't let him move freely the entire 5 days we stayed. Our air conditioner was broken and we inquired to room service about it but was told to just leave the card in the slot so we assumed okay, this is just how it is. I was waking up throughout the night to take cold showers and my baby was sweating profusely, by the 4th night we had to demand something so they changed our room and low and behold, our AC WAS broken & the new room's toilet was broken.
The taste of the food leaves much to be desired and worse, the food made my stomach distend so much that a bartender even refused me a drink due to being "pregnant". I felt disgusting on vacation and ended up having to buy food at the nearby restaurants, completely defeating the purpose of the all inclusive.
