“There was a lot wrong. with the property. It was being renovated and the front entrance was closed. Had to come in the back (west) entrance, walk to the front desk. There was NO carts to bring in luggage. The clerk said there were ONLY TWO for the entire property and could not locate either one. We had to carry 2 loads of luggage and we are 65+. When we got to our room, there was no coffeemaker in the room. The TV appeared to be in the process of dying (3 big dots on one side of the screen). The……

“Very friendly staff. I had a lot of questions prior to renting due to me being out of state and not able to see property prior to renting it for my brother who needed a place to stay until his apartment was ready. The front desk clerk that I spoke with was very open to answering my questions. Stay was a month for my brother. He had no complaints. He said he stay there again. ”

“Pros: The location was convenient. The room was cleaned daily. Staff was very pleasant. The AC worked great. The road noise wasn't terrible at all. The pool was very well maintained. The bed was very comfortable and I slept like a baby. Cons: I stayed for 6 nights and the sheets were never changed. The mop water is not changed between rooms which leaves the floors rather tacky feeling. On my very last night I found 2 live cockroaches and 1 dead that was under the drawer in the nightstand……

“I seriously thought about giving this place a TERRIBLE review because I liked it here so much and I dont want to see the price go up once construction on the exterior pool is complete and summer gets here. This is a river front property, however fishing is not allowed on the rocks currently but there is a place to fish about a quarter of a mile away in the neighborhood. The bed is super comfy. The Zenses shampoo, body wash, and lotion in the scent of Sandalwood was amazing. The conditioner……

“At check in Alex was very friendly and informative. He provided suggestions for local dining and also how to get to the Shiloh National Battlefield Park. My room and bathroom were clean and the bed was comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.”

“We have stayed at this property many times in the last 5 years. Last year when we visited we learned that it was under new ownership. They are doing a lot of renovations to the property, but the breakfast is not as good as it used to be. ”
