“Expensive but worth the splurge to be in such a special place-- we paid extra for view of the Chateau. Skip the crowds and bling of Versailles and treat yourself to this perfect architectural masterpiece (that is, the Chateau-- the hotel is disappointingly modern, with smallish rooms, but overall felt luxurious).
