    Accessible by 4 x 4 vehicle only! Your family will love this home on the Canal front in Carova Beach. This quiet location includes a dock with canal access and wild horses roaming freely.

    Ground Level: Exterior amenities include a dock with canal access.

    Mid Level: Great room with flat-screen TV and screen porch access, kitchen with gas stove and counter seating for 3 and dining area seating 8. Master Bedroom with 2 Doubles plus private bathroom, Bedroom with 2 DuoBunks, flat-screen TV and 2 desks and a full hallway bathroom. Laundry area with washer and dryer.

    Top Level: 2 King Master Bedrooms each with flat-screen TV and private bathrooms.

    Extras: Two 4x4 parking passes (with cash deposit), 4 TVs, high speed internet, X-box, screened porch, corn hole, kayak, fire pit, ceiling fans, canal front dock, gas grill, Keurig and Standard coffee makers, and linens and towels provided. No Smoking. Dogs Welcome (2 max). Flex Stay available October 1 to May 15 (3 Night Minimum). Beds: 2 Kings, 2 Doubles, 2 DuoBunks. House Address: 512 Brant Road, Corolla. Key Type: Keyless entry. CHECK IN LOCATION: 1023 Ocean Trail, Corolla Office.

    This property does not offer beach chairs nor a landline telephone.

    Garage is not available to guests.

    Note: This home is on well water. We recommend guests bring water for drinking.

    Linens and towels provided at no additional cost. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made with the exception of sleep sofas, top bunks and trundle beds in which case the sheets are provided. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the house sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom and a bath mat for each shower or tub.

    4-WD REQUIRED - This home is only accessible by high clearance Four-Wheel-Drive vehicles such as a Jeep Cherokee, Ford Explorer, etc. You will be driving on the beach, over dune lines and in soft sand.

    Carova Beach is convenient for families because it is not necessary to walk to the beach. A walk over the dune or a 30 second drive in your four wheel drive vehicle brings you out to the beach where you can park right on the beach and enjoy the luxury of having all your beach goodies at your fingertips and enjoy the day! Wild horses roam the area as well as fox, deer, and lots of waterfowl on the sound.

    Beach Parking Passes are required to park on the beach from the last Saturday in April through the first Saturday in October. You do not need a pass to drive on the beach or park at the home. Two 4x4 parking passes are included with each 4x4 vacation home with a $50 cash deposit (refunded when passes are returned). Passes can be picked up at our Corolla Office (1023 Ocean Trail) during business hours. If more than two passes are needed, there are a limited number of additional available parking passes each week that can be purchased from Currituck County (https://currituckcountync.ticketspice.com/currituckbeachparking) The cost for a 4x4 parking pass is $50 and can be purchased online but has to be picked up in person at the Corolla Visitor Center (500 Hunt Club Drive). Please double check Corolla Visitor Center business hours when planning your trip.

New Build, Comfortable Amenities for Carova 4x4

This VRBO rental in Carova Beach was exactly as described. Check-in was simple, the house was clean along with sheets, towels and blankets. If you know Carova Beach, you should be aware that the water will smell like sulfur. Be sure to bring your own drinking water and any other items you need because there are no shops after leaving Corolla. The power in the kitchen remains faulty, the only outlets functioning in the kitchen are closest to the refrigerator and stove, which was no problem for our stay. No high chair available. Classic coffee pot available! Please list that there is a Gas grill available! The kitchen sink would benefit with a silicone strainer; The current metal one stops the flow of water down the drain unless you lift it. Thank you, we enjoyed your home and our weekend vacation!

Carova Trip

I would have given it a one star review, but I'll have to admit; the new construction home is beautiful, right on the canal in beautiful secluded Carova Beach. The 4x4 beach was a 3 min drive away from the house. In the years I've been using VRBO, this is my first negative review. First, check in process was difficult. Check in time is 4:00pm, but Brindley Beach Vacations office is only open til 5:00pm. We didn't make it into Corolla until 6:00pm and there was no way of getting the welcome package and beach passes from their office. You would think that it could have been left in the home. Upon arrival, the dishes and silverware were absolutely filthy. The water coming out of the faucet smelled like boiled eggs. There is no water filter in the refrigerator but luckily we brought our own drinking water. No where on the listing did it mention that you need to bring bottled water. And once you're on Carova, the nearest grocery store is 45 mins away. It wasn't fun to shower or brush teeth. The internet didn't work. I notified the management company and they told me that they would put it in the work order (along with the dishwasher) but they never once came out. Even though the listing said that there's a Keurig, it didn't work. The electrical outlets in the kitchen were non functional. In the bunk room, one of the sheets had a blood stain on it. Although we absolutely loved the seclusion of Carova beach, we couldn't wait to get out of that house.
