A week is not enough!!!

The home is beautiful and well maintained. Location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach or short drive to the stores. Home was clean with a well equipped kitchen. It was nice to have a pool at home.

1st anniversary trip with our fur-babies

After 30 years of coming to the OBX with my extended family in the summer, my husband and I finally got to come with just our dogs. This house was perfect for dogs and us! With a fully secure fenced in backyard area with a sandpit area for the dogs to go to the bathroom. We especially enjoyed the furnishings and hot tub for the cooler evenings. Highly recommend the house for proximity to the beach and to the bay!

Great home!!!

We loved the house and would definitely come back. When we add some minor issues Vacasa and the owners were very responsive. The only issue is the WiFi has a weak signal in the pool area which with a WiFi extender could be easily solved. We had a great time there. Close to the beach and the pool area was used a lot by our family.

Perfect location!

The home was in the perfect location with easy beach access and near the Curritick Coastal Reserve. We were able to walk via the beach to the 4x4 area. The home was clean and had everything we needed. The pool and hot tub a great bonus! We will definitely be back in the future!

Lovely home

Pretty close walk to beach, house is lovely, well appointed. The cleaning was mediocre. I felt like I needed to clean much of what was left from before. I understand we arrived late summer and the house was probably used hard (and maybe too hard by some) so that may be why . Aside from that, this house was great!

Great family vacation!

We had a great trip at Seaside Sea Esta. The house has plenty of space for our family of eight adults and two grandkids to spread out. The kitchen was well stocked, easy beach access, pool and hot tub were great as well as the multiple decks. All agreed one of the best houses we have been in in our over twenty years ofOBX trips. The only reason I did not give five stars is the trouble we had getting someone from Vacasa for our “supposed” check in. The information we had received regarding the need for check in, where the office was and NOT being told the Vacasa office was actually the Corolla Vacation office. When we finally figured that, we found the office closed at 2:30 because they went to lunch. ??‍♀️ They need to do a better job in their communications.

Great House, Great Location.

We stayed in this community last year. It’s really quiet and lovely. The beach is incredible and being a few minutes walk away is unbeatable. The fitness center is a little outdated, but it’s fine. Tennis, Pickleball and basketball courts are great. I have nothing negative to say about the house (although the TVs were small). I wasn’t thrilled with some of the cleaning and condition of the pool area and pool. Communication with “Vacasa” and the “local team” is not really true— we noted numerous issues Saturday and someone came by but it didn’t really solve the issue (i.e. smoke alarm beeping and the guy just put the battery I removed back in; the WiFi name was wrong; the gate latch was broken and the chaise cushions were ripped). I definitely ended up washing a number of things that were put away. This was more of letting them know than being a problem. I would like the house to come with the fitness center membership and pickleball hours like we had last year— it was over $200 to workout and play for 2 hours.

Wonderful home and location!

We enjoyed our stay and the home was exactly what we needed for our family vacation. Location was great. Out of the way of the main area but still close to everything we would need. Would absolutely stay again.

Great spot

House needs work

While we loved the location of the home, the house itself needs updating and cleaning. The house was filthy upon arrival. A couple of the beds were not made, the sheets were dirty, all of the blankets were thrown in one big closet and needed to be washed. There were bugs everywhere including smooshed dead on the walls of the house. There was a broken screen door on the middle porch, a dirty rug crumpled in a ball out by the pool deck, and the pool deck itself was covered in ants! During our stay the kitchen sink backed up and the washing machine stopped working.

Perfect House!

The house was set up perfectly, and at the end of a cul-de-sac in a quiet neighborhood, only a five-minute walk to the beach. 5 minute drive to the lighthouse and Bay Area. Newly renovated and perfect beautiful rooms. We love the chair swing and balconies, and screened-in outside eating areas outside the 2 bedrooms. We would definitely stay here again. There was one area behind the showers that if you do have a pet, they could Escape but we just kept her away from that area. Otherwise the pool area was completely secure. The area in between the pool and showers and garage had a few holes in the fence where a dog could Escape. The only weird thing was the front door was dirty with cobwebs bugs and hasn't been painted in a while and at first we thought it was going to be a bad experience but once we walked in everything was gorgeous and immaculate, beautifully decorated and so comfortable. Not sure why the front entrance, which is your first impression, would be like that. Otherwise, Plenty of room and gorgeous bedrooms. My husband and I had the king size bedroom and the chair swing was right outside, which I read my book in every morning. My two daughters took the upstairs third floor bedroom which had a beautiful porch and screened in sitting area and a Jacuzzi bathtub for themselves. Highly recommend for many many reasons. Just be aware that you really will have to buy everything. Besides utensils, pots and pans, dishes and glasses, there is nothing there. If you have things you can bring from home bring it. Bring toilet paper and tin foil plastic bags spices sponge dishwasher cleaner Etc. If I had known that there was truly nothing I would have brought a lot more stuff from home. Even just bringing salt and pepper from home would have saved money. For some reason I thought it would be like an air B&B where they have some basic items. Otherwise this was minor and a lesson learned. No reflection on the house at all, all houses are like this. Felt very sad to leave because it was the most perfect house. Pool and Jacuzzi were great. There were no beach chairs here but we called and they delivered five brand new ones. Be aware that they're just the basic tiny little beach chairs that sit low to the ground and do not lean back. If that's a problem bring your own. Both our families had a fantastic time. We looked around at other houses but I don't think any compared to ours. Great price for what we got as well!
