Summer vaca

Overall this is only 3 stars for us. This property is managed by Brindley Beach Vacation. - good: the house is cute, fairly updated, fairly close to the beach -bad: the house comes with nothing, you get 1 kitchen towel, no hand towels, yes regular towels, maybe 2 trash bags, no soap, no detergent, no vacuum, nothing to clean .....we sent an email to the management company on the day of check in about few issues but never heard back. No warm hospitality here! The 2 smaller rooms did not get any cold air, very uncomfortable to sleep.

Over all great vacation

The house was nice but if you can't go up and down stairs I don't recommend. I also was very disappointed in the fact the kitchen sink didn't have hot water .I had to boil water to do dishes. Hot water is very appointment especially during a pandemic. Water was metallic in color and smell. Be warned if you take your pet, there are sand spur weeds that kept getting stuck and painful on our dog. . I also recommend a shovel to clean up horse manure. We had to buy our own since the horses come close to house and pooped right in front of stairs. I don't want to scare people off but just wanted people to be aware. It definitely is a lovely beach house and a perfect location to see the horses. I would recommend it to others but just be aware of what I mentioned in the beginning!

Upon arrival, exterior has changed based on photos in app. Grounds of the property no kept up on. Grille in the back yard can’t be used unless you want to stand in 3 ft grass/weeds. Entry to the house was easy. Inside the house immediately a splatter of blood on the wall next to the light switch, additional blood found on the master bathroom door and in the stair way to upstairs. Water puddle in front of the refrigerator each day. Cob webs in each corner of the walls and down walls, Internet/Wifi does not work it’s not strong enough to carry through the house. We used hotspot on rainy days and evenings powered every tv. Tech came out to address refrigerator didn’t fix it, internet/wifi he said always an issue at this house. We couldn’t use the pantry as it was infested with ants (can be expected in the remote location) but still a pain. Brindlay Beach was fully aware of everything. They did offer to send a maid to clean. We already bleach/sanitized the walls & doors in fact wiped down chairs and counters to be safe. Overall we made the best of it spending every hour we could on the beach. House is very convenient, the sunrise is breath taking and so close to the best places to park on the beach. Horses stroll down the road and camp out on the property. The Beach, Horses, Sunrise and Memories made the issues at the house minimal. We did expect some kind of comp for the inconveniences. But it is what it is. And our memories will last forever.

Horses and deer

It was worth the wild ride of 3.8 miles on the beach to see the wild horses and occasionally see deer from our decks!!

Incredible experience, fell in love with the location

This is probably the most relaxing vacation my family has had. The location is incredible, we enjoyed the sunrise, sunsets and visits by wild horses! Steps from the beach! Driving in was an experience in itself! We were nervous about the drive as did not know what to expect but all was well with the Jeep. The house is clean and modern and we really enjoyed staying there! The recent renovations are excellent 👍 towels and linens were plentiful and appreciated. The only area for improvement would be to add basic necessities in the house! Or at least let people know what the house does not have. We were not aware that the house did not have some basic necessities such as a fist aid kit, trash bags, no soap whatsoever, no dish detergent, no washer detergent etc. Our goal was to load up the car and drive out once to the house but we had to go back into town right away to get these necessities which was unplanned and unpleasant. This did not prevent us from appreciating the house, the nature around it and having an overall super relaxing break! Really loved it!!!
