“Dan is a wonderful host. The house is very well decorated and clean. The beds were very comfortable. The size of the rooms were good. The kids had a nice cozy room. We were 4 adults, 4 kids and 2 pups and we didnt get to use one room with a king bed. Dan was very prompt in his responses. The house location is perfect. It is a very short drive to the beach. “House was amazing. Just what a family needs. Getting to and from the main road is another story. Having to leave air out of your tires and then putting air back in your tires each time you have to go on the main road is a hassle. Also watching the tide schedule is important. You can’t just jump in your vehicle and go somewhere. You have to have a plan. Plus it’s not just you on the sand. We wanted to try it. Sooo now… been there, done that, don’t need to go back.”

It truly makes for a better experience having peace, quiet, clean and comfy bedding. The owners were truly a blessing, living nearby. They were the definition of true southern hospitality. The house was spacious and accommodated our group of 13; however, the house is in need of updating. The dryer went out during our stay but was repaired but all appliances need to be upgraded. Pressure washing is needed for the exterior as we were unable to use the outdoor furniture due to the bird droppings and spider webs. Carpet is also in need of replacement. Although……

“Overall, the house was solid with lots of stuff for our 1.5 year old. Wish the house was a little cleaner when we arrived - specifically the grill and the coffee maker needed some work. Should probably replace the queen mattress on the 2nd floor near the door. We used the hot tub quite a bit and easy walk to lots of places”
