The spot to stay in both El Nido and Coron. Locations are ideal and beautiful, well kept with top notch hospitality. El Nido’s location is a quick minute walk into town center where you can enjoy a beautiful ocean view during your meals or just a long walk on the beach. Coron’s location has beautiful scenic views, great buffet and a rooftop bar that will compete with the best of them.

As soon as we were picked up at the airport, the hospitality of the Funny Lion Coron staff has been exceptional! Housekeeping, bar and restaurant servers, reception staff, pool attendants, and everyone else working in the hotel have been giving their 100% and more to all of their guests. I knew I would fall in love with the islands of Coron, but I never expected to feel the same way with the Funny Lion Coron! We always look forward to the breakfast buffet, their taco night Tuesday was amazing and the food at the Hunt was delicious! The daily Filipino meryenda and sweet treats were also a nice surprise! My boyfriend and I will definitely be back!

We were greeted by staff at the airport for our shuttle ride to the Funny Lion. Once we arrived we received a refreshing lemongrass drink and given a tour of the hotel and a personal greeting in our room. Service was top notch, felt personally cared for the entire time. I would recommend this hotel time and time again!
