Peaceful getaway

Beautiful location and extremely private. Garden area great for dogs.The walks to the beach, sunsets, Spa and house facilities an absolute plus. I would definitely book again. (Please monitor small dogs like we do, Jack Russell. We did note a fox killing rabbits just over the side fence.)PS took some great sunset pics but the APP won't let me upload them

Nice getaway

My second stay at Goku’s shack. Comfy bed, good heating and spa is nice. House and surrounds could do with a good clean up. Fencing had blown over when we arrived. Handy location to the beach although extremely windy during our stay.

Cosy dog-friendly house with amazing views

This was our second stay at Goku's Shack. It is in a peaceful location at the end of a court with amazing sunsets to be enjoyed from the front deck. The front yard is great for dogs to play and it is a short walk to the beach and general store. The neighbours are always quiet. We will be back!

Amazing views and the spa was a huge hit!

Beautiful spot overlooking the bay with a paddock next door with kangaroo's at sunrise and sunset. The house was fully equipped including things that are often missing in other properties (hand towels, bath mats, paper towel, tissues). The king size bed was very comfortable and I liked having plenty of spots to hang towels in the bathroom (a towel rail and a couple of extra hooks - something else that is often lacking!). All in all, a very enjoyable stay!

The property was clean and the view was breathtaking. The hot tub is such a bonus and the king size bed was comfy. We brought our Pomeranian and he loved the secure backyard with the huge amount of grass. We will be back! Thankyou

Great view of the bay

We enjoyed the property, very clean and well maintained.Great living area, everything that we needed was there.Great view of the water from the balcony and spa.There was a bit of an issue with accessing the property (1.5 hrs wait) due to the maintenance team forgetting to put the key back. It might be helpful to mention the first story is a split level in case people have trouble using stairs. A good place to bring your fury friend.

Great quiet spot with amazing views.

We love staying here has become part of our life. It’s in an excellent location which is quiet and has the best view. Close to beach and the local shop. The house is clean and comfortable and has a spa outside with the deck getting the beautiful afternoon sun.

It's a great house and location.The place was a little dirty upon arrival which would have made the stay better. The agents will be passing the message onto the cleaners which is good to hear. It was our second time visiting as we just love it. The spa is next level amazing.

Fabulous relaxed stay

Nice house in great location. Easy walk to the beautiful beach. Spa was terrific although I would prefer it a little hotter as the weather cools down. Set at 37 which drops quite quickly to 35 when in it. Hot water in taps is scalding hot and some bird or possum got into the range hood on the last night but think it left after I switched it on. Comfy bed and secure for dogs. Looking forward to another trip back.

Amazing view :)

Coronet Bay is a step back in time, a peaceful little hamlet away from the hustle and bustle. Very close proximity to the kid friendly beach and General Store, a short drive or 25 min beach walk to Fig & the Bay in Corinella. Hands down, Goku Shack boasts the best view in town and the family including our little Jack Russell enjoyed our time immensely. The spa and BBQ on the deck!! Walks on the beach, fishing & snorkelling. Also, by car not too far away from the surf beaches in Phillip Island, Sky Trail at AMaze’N Things or our favourite restaurants in Cowes. We will be back with bells on :)

Not worth the price

Our overall experience was very average and definitely not worth the price. Firstly the check in was terrible, after a horrible experience with one of the staff from Phillip Island Homes whilst we were unable to actually unlock the property because the keys in the lockbox were jamming the actual lock and therefore we couldn't get it out. It took an hour and 45 mins to send someone down to do a 2 second job, all this time my family and I were waiting in the cold and getting no sort of reassurance from the staff member at the agency, essentially him telling us that this hasn't happened before and there's been no issues with the lock implying it's user error. However when we came to lock the property back up and place the keys back in the lockbox, we could see why the keys got jammed in the first place because it's so easy for it to get caught in the lock, we obviously made sure we did it correctly to not inconvenience the next person however the agency really need to do a better job at checking the whole property before someone comes to check into the property. Joel however who was another staff member I dealt with was much more understanding and as I complained to him the next day he did extend our check out till 2pm and was much kinder to deal on the phone with. On our second night, there was a bass coast wide power outage from 4.30pm till 12.30am, which meant we really couldn't use the facilities for majority of Saturday... In terms of cleanliness, the outdoor area needs more love as there were spiderwebs everywhere that you can tell had been there for a long time, the rooms were average. Actually only the downstairs room was decent but the upstairs room were not great aesthetically and cleanliness wise, the windows need to be cleaned more as there were a lot of dead bugs lying around on the windowsill. The neighbour is okay, when I went to go seek his help to get the lockbox opened because maintenance was taking way too long he told me that he doesn't want any noise or "loud conversations" after 10pm which I said okay to, until my last day when I was reading the houses handbook it had said that on Friday and Saturday you can actually go until 11pm! So the neighbour just took advantage of our situation at the time. Overall, the property could do with more love and care, it's not worth the price that it's advertised for though. The spa was the only highlight when we were able to use it. And the views are great too.

mixed feelings

the location was excellent, however the cleanliness of the house was a little below what i would of expected. it was very dusty , window sills etc were very dirty. the supplies at the house were sparse
