「This place is absolutely wonderful from the welcome, to the unique building itself, the apartment and especially the roof terrace and views! The building is in a vibrant part of the city with lots of bars and restaurants, and easy access to key tourist sites. Highly recommended!」

「Very spacious with plenty of room for my family of five, two adults share one room, two teenage daughters shared one room, and teenage son had a room to himself. Clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay including two full bathrooms, a full kitchen with everything you need to cook your own meals. As well a laundry washer/dryer combo unit in the kitchen area. Nice wrap around balcony to chill out, street view so boring special to look at, but still a nice little spot to get out...

「Overall the apartment is nice and clean, and the location is great with some good, local restaurants around. Note that some of the rooms are basement rooms and might be damp. Only thing I would point out is that the first day when we got picked up from the airport we negotiated a $38 price but the driver couldn't find a parking spot and charged us $5 on top.」

「Place overall is beautiful and immaculate. The cleaning staff team were always professional and efficient, with a lot of kindness checking in frequently to see if we needed any amenities. Location is within walking distance to the Acropolis and city center locations. Roughly 15-20 mins by foot. There's a pool up in the rooftop along with BBQ amenities.」

「If you're looking for an oasis away from the typical tourist crowds, this is it. The design and rooms are stunning, and the rooftop jacuzzi is a highlight for relaxing. It is situated between two busy streets, so expect some traffic noise regardless of the hour. If you're sensitive to sound at night, earplugs make it a non-issue. Great proximity to local dining and sights! Super attentive and friendly staff as well 」

「As expected. Budget hotel with the basics. Walking distance to restaurants. Downtown area, acropolis are easily walkable (about 1 km away). The housekeeper was onsite daily and was very friendly and helpful. 」

「We really enjoyed our stay at The Modernist. The hotel is in a quiet and lovely part of Athens, though very quick and easy to visit the main attractions from here. Breakfast was fabulous and staff all friendly and helpful. Kolonaki has many great non-touristy restaurants too. Would highly recommend. 」

「Place is quiet and cozy. Surrounded by restaurants and supermarkets. Just 2 things need to be improved: no slope in the entrance that people have to lite the luggage up to get in. Also staff provide with the wrong entrance code and I arrive but have to wait outside the door in the evening. Others are great.」
