Great setting right on the bay and close to the center of Corozal. Staff it's friendly and helpful. The accommodations are basic but clean and affordable. Best is the porch overlooking the bay with a great hammock.
We loved it here. Great location right across from the sea. Nice room with a shower that worked well. Good AC, great mattress and sheets. Excellent helpful and non obtrusive staff.
We will stay there again. Top marks!

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Staff was nice, had a great dog as a mascot. She was a sweatheart. Room wise, the only thing you can count on is a bed to sleep on, could upgrade or work on a lot of things. Tons of dogs bark between 4 and 6am every morning in the neighborhood so it has a built in alarm clock.
Price was high for what it was but when in corazol.
The town in general does not give a lot to be desired. The one thing i did appreciate and enjoy was Rudys coffee shop. Las villitas i believe. Great cappuccino and company. His wife made breakfast that hit the spot. Its up on his balcony with a view of the water.
First off, if you're expecting luxury accommodations here, you're in the wrong place. But if you're looking for a clean, courteous, and sometimes quirky little place at a good price, the Hotel Martin should suit you fine. Rooms are modest, but comfortable and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. And the patio is a great place to spend an afternoon overlooking Corozal Bay. It's an easy walk to shops and restaurants, at the town is very friendly. And Dakota the hotel dog will sit quietly at your feet, wanting occasional belly rubs. Overall, a great value for the money.
Incredible staff! “Slim” picked up take out food for me while he was getting some for his family. Alejandra taught me so much about Belizean culture, and Steve, the manager recommended things to do, arranged a massage for me, drove me to places and picked me up when there were no taxis available and a couple of times just because he wanted to! They were simply amazing!
