Comfortable, colorful & convenient location

Property was well maintained & had colorful decorations in every room while keeping the laid back beach vibe.It had more than enough room for everyone to enjoy their own space or linger poolside. Also a quick 5 min golf cart ride to get to the beach & close to shopping, restaurants etc Rocking chairs on the porch in the evening was my favorite spot.

Port A family trip

Great house!!

probably one of the best houses we have stayed in the 20 years of coming to Port A! great pool area, which is very much needed in this summer heat, drank coffee on the front porch every morning! the house was very cool and extremely comfortable. My family didn’t want to leave.

Amazing Home in Port Aransas

Our family traveled to Port Aransas from Chicago for Spring Break. We were looking for a private house with private pool for Covid safety, and we really enjoyed our time in this home. The interior offered the perfect and well appointed space for 2 families with young kids. The outdoor space was amazing with heated pool (important in March) and firepit for nightly conversations among the adults. We cooked at home most nights and the kitchen was well stocked with gear. We enjoyed our time in Port Aransas and at this home.

Nicest Rental Yet

We are no strangers to STR's in Port A. We come several times/year. Knot too Shabby is definitely the nicest place we have stayed to date! The decorations and overall ambience added to our sense of vacation and relaxation.

Great home

The house was a lovely home for weekend getaway. We had fun in the pool after a long day at the beach. The bottom room was having difficulties with the AC but they were able to fix the problem. We made s’mores and the kids had a great time.

Knot Too Shabby-great house!

Our first visit to Port A was great! House was perfect for our family of 7! Everyone had their own space. Pool was great for the hot summer days. Golf carts are the mode of transportation on the island so that’s a must have! House had everything you need to start out. Easy grocery delivery order from HEB or eat out at some local spots. Beach is a short cart ride away! We will be back!

Perfect house for our girls trip

We loved everything about this house - perfect location, comfy beds, plenty of room. The pool was great and we loved the golf cart. The kitchen had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Family fun

We enjoyed our stay at Knot so Shabby. We loved having a private pool, deck and fire pit. The beds were very comfortable and we liked the layout of the house. Downstairs furniture was uncomfortable and not very spacious for the 12 max guest limit. The kitchen was missing a lot of basic cooking supplies such a whisks and a multi serve coffee pot. Overall these were minor complaints that’s didn’t make a large impact on our fun trip!

Just What We Needed

We really enjoyed staying at the property. It was just the spring break vacation that my family and our friends needed. The property was well kept and comfy. Just might recommend an update to the living room cushions, but it didn't keep us from relaxing and enjoying one of our favorite destinations. We loved our stay and would recommend to others.
