“We recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming VRBO property, and I must say, it was a truly restful and rejuvenating experience! The moment we stepped inside, we were struck by the immaculate condition and delightful decor of the place. The owners have done an excellent job of creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making us feel right at home. The property's location on Lake Erie was simply stunning, with a unique rock cliff and miniature waterfall added to the tranquil ambiance.……

“It was cold early April. At night around 29 degrees, but up to 65 in the sunny afternoon. We were two couples and a dad with an 11 year old, which was an awkward fit for the space. The 11 year old was very happy with the small porch room with the day bed. The 56 year old dad tolerated the small upstairs room that was the gateway to the huge attic bedroom, where I and my partner slept. You do have to trek though that room and down stairs a way to the bathroom. There isn't heating up there that we……

“This house was perfect for our stay in Erie. Gathering for my parent's memorial service, we needed multiple houses in Erie to help accommodate our family and Janelle's properties were ideal. Not only was this house located with a beautiful view of Lake Erie, but it had an open floor plan that was perfect for our traveling guests. Janelle is a gracious host who always responded quickly to any questions or request. I highly recommend this property and will reach out to Janelle again the next time……

“Ethan hosted me for a few days during the eclipse in 2024. The house was very clean, the views are just as pictured, and the kitchen was well-stocked with tools and utensils. I would absolutely stay here again.”

“My mother and I went for a mother/daughter trip over Mother's Day weekend. We had an amazing time. We had a warm welcome message upon entering the lake house which was so sweet. We had everything we could have possibly needed right at our finger tips. Stacy is gracious enough to think of absolutely everything! “There’s so many things to love about this Lakehouse. It’s right on the water so you get to see everything from the inside if the weather is too cool to be outside. Plus, there’s plenty of yard space for corn hole and bury fire pit. There’s a gas grill on the property so we were easily able to pair meals every night plus a full kitchen. This is our go to for when we want to stay at Lake Chautauqua!”

“The house was clean, the beds comfortable. The kitchen had everything needed to cook dinners and we appreciated the hot beverage options provided (KCup variety & tea bags.) The nearby parks were perfect for enjoying the amazing Erie sunsets.”

“We’ve been visiting Chautauqua for years and this was by far our best trip yet. The chalet was beautiful and very well stocked with all the essentials and then some!! Communication with the owners was great. We were able to hike and explore the property, play in the snow, enjoy some of the local wineries, then wind down to relax by the cozy fireplace.
