what you'd expect from a 3 star hotel.
Good, basic, clean 3 star hotel. 20 mins walk from town but there's a frequent bus that takes you there during the day. Good breakfast but a limited selection, so after a few days it gets a bit repetitive.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und gleich mit Tipps für Wanderungen und Ausflügen rund um Cortina versorgt. Unser Zimmer war sehr geräumig und war mit einem großen Balkon ausgestattet, der einen wundervollen Blick auf Cinque Torre und Tofane ermöglichte. Das Zimmer (wie auch das ganze Hotel) war wirklich sehr sauber, wenn auch nicht mehr das jüngste Baujahr. Dass das Hotel an einer Hauptverkehrsader in die Stadt liegt war uns zuvor bewusst, allerdings hätten wir nie mit dieser Menge an Verkehr gerechnet. Cortina wird leider von den meisten nicht zu Fuß oder mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln, sondern mit dem Auto erkundet. Den Verkehr hört man daher in den zur Straße gerichteten Zimmern sehr deutlich. Das Frühstück war für italienische Verhältnisse üppig (es gibt nicht nur Süßspeisen) und reicht für Wanderer alle Male aus. Die meisten Restaurants befinden sich in der Innenstadt, die zu Fuß etwa 25min entfernt ist oder in 5 min mit dem Bus erreicht wird. Anders als in österreichischen Wanderregionen oder dem Südtirol bekommt man in Cortina auch problemlos noch nach 21:00 Uhr eine warme Mahlzeit (südländische Verhältnisse). Trotz des störenden Verkehrs würden wir uns wieder für das Al Larin entscheiden, da es v.a. bei Preis/Leistung voll punkten kann.

The location is a bit father from town (a good 30 min walk) however I prefer this since it's a wonderful walk along pedestrian path and a bus runs along the route. The check in was wonderful. Very friendly and inviting host. The room was very clean. It's modest accommodation for the trade off of a wonderful view. The twin bed was a bit to get used to for comfort but I made due. Complementary breakfast was good. My only dislike was the thinness of the curtains in the window which at night with the light on gives you no privacy from anyone walking past. Overall a good stay though.

Waren nur für eine Nacht auf einer Mountainbiketour. Nach einer Regenetappe sind wir nass und verschmutzt ins Hotel gekommen. Der Empfang war sehr entgegenkomment und herzlich. Konnten die nassen Sachen im Heizraum trocknen usw...

Bom hotel. Situado a cerca de 2 km do centro de Cortina. Fácil de encontrar, bom quarto, limpo. Fiel ao que se encontra no site. Bom breakfast. Recomendo.

Au moment de la réservation, c'était inscrit sur le site que le petit déjeuner était compris. Arrivé a l'hotel, le gérant nous a montré la feuille de réservation, chambre seulement. Il fallait payer 10 euros de plus pour avoir le petit déjeuner. C'est la seule déception car tout le reste ètait bien

Très bon rapport qualité/prix
Hôtel à recommander pour une clientèle ne cherchant pas le superflus (spa, piscine, etc...). Chambre impeccable et petit-déjeuner varié de 7h30 à 9h30. Gestion familiale. Le patron maîtrise le français et est très disponible. Obligation de prendre le repas de midi ou du soir en dehors de l'hôtel. La situation à 2 km du centre n'est pas un soucis si les journées sont consacrées à des excursions ou randonnées hors de Cortina. En effet, aucun parking gratuit en journée dans le centre de Cortina. Pour un repas en soirée dans le centre de Cortina, un parking est gratuit après l'ancienne gare à partir de 20h00. L'hébergement est donc idéal (budget minime) pour une clientèle intéressée principalement par des activités en montagne (randonnée, via ferrata, cyclisme)

Ho soggiornato 2 notti e mi sono trovato molto bene... Personale accogliente, camera molto pulita e calda, colazione abbondante. La zona in cui si trova non è centrale ma a circa un chilometro dal centro di cortina e cioè vicinissimo... Non ho nessun punto debole da notare.

The hotel was an older facility but reasonably kept. We did not feel particularly welcomed by the proprietor. Breakfast was marginal. The location of the facility was out of town a couple of kilometers on a busy secondary road. However, the price point was good for an overnight stay.

We were switched to across the street to Nord hotel which was wonderful. Same family they said. The owner of Nord Hotel, Andrea was delightful man and so helpful and went out of his way to get us information and help. Just loved the stay. We had a small apartment like accommodations for my husband, myself and our daughter. Great experience.

Mein erster Eindruck war ordentlich und das Hotel wirkt sauber und gepflegt, es gibt außerdem genügend Parkplätze. Das Hotel liegt am Ortseingang und ist damit nicht geeignet um mal eben oder jeden Abend ins Stadtzentrum zu schlendern. Das war aber bekannt und wird von mir nicht negativ gewertet. Das Doppelzimmer war sehr klein. Zwischen Bett und Wand bzw. Schrank könnte man noch nicht mal einen größeren Koffer ablegen und öffnen. TV neuwertig und guter Empfang aber sehr, sehr klein. Positiv: Ein kleiner Balkon zugänglich vom Zimmer, den man sich mit seinen Zimmernachbarn teilt. Ausblick auf die Landschaft gabs in unserem Zimmer nicht, nur auf den direkt dahinter liegenden Hügel und Wanderweg der direkt am Hotel vorbei geht. Wirklich gestört hat mich bei unserem 4-tägigen Aufenthalt im Juni, dass die Zentralheizung pauschal abgeschaltet war und man nachts fror. Außerdem ist das Hotel sehr hellhörig und Fenster, Türen, Spülung usw. sind eher laut. In den Morgenstunden und abends ist das schon sehr störend und wir sind davon geweckt worden. Der Frühstücksraum und das Frühstück ist gut, aber nicht reichlich. Orangensaft z.B. war meistens um 8.30 Uhr schon aus und vieles wurde nicht immer selbständig nachgefüllt. Mein persönliches Fazit: Für 1-2 Nächte ist das Hotel durchaus in Ordnung. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt empfehle ich es nicht und bei entsprechenden Zimmerpreis finde ich es nicht in Ordnung das ich die Heizung ausgeschalten wird!

The hotel is close to center, only if you have car
The hotel is 3-star ranking, but it's more like 2-star hotel. There is no elevetor, and you need to carry your staff on the steps. The room is kinda dark, we didn't get shampoo for the shower. The staff is ok, but not more than that. The hotel location is 5 min from the center, and there is free parking. The wifi is free and works well. Bottom line a place to sleep but no more, I seen much better places in the price range

Vi abbiamo trascorso un fine settimana lungo, tre giorni in due notti, in occasione di una gara podistica. L'esperienza è stata veramente ottima. Il titolare ed il personale sono stati molto gentili e disponibili verso ogni richiesta. Il posto è molto comodo, raggiungibile molto facilmente e con parcheggio adiacente. Noi avevamo una camera con terrazzino con vista diretta sul gruppo delle Tofane e sulla piana di Cortina. Meglio di così... Ottime anche le colazioni, con brioche molto buone e buffet molto vario.

Very comfortable-home style-helpful friendly staff-they even lent me ski gloves so we could go outside and play in the snow! Bus stop right outside so don't need to drive. All Perfect! Thank you for a great stay

pleasant stay
Not in central Cortina but a good 10 minute walk down hill but a nice walk all the same. There is not a restaurant at the hotel so you need to walk down to Corntia which is a lovely bustling town with plenty of bars and restaurants. The breakfast buffet at the hotel is great and the views from the hotel are lovely and would definitely recommend a stay here
