"Unique and fun place to stay. Loved the art works displayed throughout the property. Appreciated the sense of humor with the red penguins that surprised us appearing at different locations every day. Staff was professional and friendly. Small fridge in the room would have been nice."

"Only spent 1 night: checked in at 6pm and left 9am. Pros: Hotel and room was very modern. Loved the lobby Loved the high ceilings which made the room feel much larger. The gal at the front desk, Angie, was extremely helpful. Cons: the thermostat in my room (202) wasn’t working. It was a cold and rainy day so I wanted the room to feel warmer. Angie tried to assist and couldn’t get it to work (turning the temperature/heat up). Instead cold air blasted above the bed (my room was colder than the hallway and common areas). She ended up calling the GM who gave her access to a room heater. They called in maintenance but they couldn’t arrive until 11pm. I learned this is an ongoing issue. We tried to turn off air and I agreed to give it time until I returned after dinner to determine if I will do a room change. The cold blast did stop and the room heater kept me comfortable all night. Other cons: wish the bed was comfortable, lots of dust under both night stands and hair on the “makeup black cloth” grossed me out a bit. If they could fix the air, bed and cleanliness of the room, I would stay again."

"Leading up to the trip communication was amazing. I thought the staff at the desk was pleasant & helpful. And the hotel is beautiful & clean. Our only complaint was the shuttle. We followed the information provided for using it & were told upon arrival at the airport that we would need to wait as the driver had to leave due to “a pilot pick up”. We didn’t understand but at that point we waited an additional 45 minutes to get transportation back to the hotel. At the end of our stay we checked at the desk & again at the transportation station to assure our return to the airport would be on time. We planned for additional time to be able to allow for any delays & checked in at the transportation station at 1:45pm for the 2:05pm shuttle- after numerous conversations with staff & waiting for “the pilots” we were told “the pilots are the priority.” We finally left for the airport at 2:45 but had to go to UPS first. We made our flight but it took a hussle to do so. While we understand business & partnerships- maybe it would be better to not provide an hourly scheduled shuttle service. We booked specifically because this hotel offered that amenity. If it’s not available, just don’t offer it to customers. And you certainly shouldn’t tell your customers that they are not your priority."
