“We had a great time staying here! Our stay was from Jan 1-3. Here are some tips for others who are considering this property:1) If you can help it, don’t arrive after dark. We weren’t able to get there until about 7pm and it is complete darkness out there. There are signs close to the ground that direct you to the house, but since it was snowing they were snow covered and we were crossing our fingers that we were going the right way. Particularly loved the outdoor (covered) hot tub, the fire pit, and the relative seclusion of the property (this one was at the end of a short row and there was nothing adjacent). Very nice porch area as well. Nice fall days/nights and our intention was to spend a lot of time outside, which we did. Very good proximity to Salt Fork State Park entrance. Love that there was plenty of wood for the fires available. Kitchen and bathroom are small/cozy but functional.……

“Dove Cottage is wonderful!! Clean, warm, inviting. I felt safe even though it’s so secluded. Everything was just perfect. I wouldn’t change a thing. Communication with the owners was excellent! “The cottage is exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well appointed. The kitchen had everything you might need for a full meal or a small late-night snack. The bathroom was large, and the shower was outstanding. The bed was quite simply the best bed we have ever had in a vacation rental, and we have rented all over the United States. Unfortunately, the cottage is very close to the road, and the traffic noise was constant during the day. It did however die down from about 9pm until 6am. If you……
