「A very different and interesting location with incredible views in piñon and juniper forests. The owner provided great information on the solar and other systems. Because several days were cloudy we did use the on site generator to be sure we had adequate battery power. We would definitely stay again…it’s all about place which was fantastic especially when the sun came out and we saw new snow on the Sangre de Cristos!!」

「Such a comfortable stay and such beautiful property」

「The property was very clean and comfortable. It was unusually hot for Salida, so we were grateful for the air conditioning. The host was very responsive. Would definitely stay there again. I thought the price was a little high, but it was consistent with area.」

「Cabins were really nice and clean! We weren't super familiar with the area but they were pretty close to the city and easy to get around town for a wedding event we were going to that weekend. 」

「Loved staying here with my husband, two adult-ish age kids and my nephew. Fun location in a nice area for multiple RVs and cabins. We loved the A-frame cabin. Close to the Royal Gorge and Canon City. The toothpaste tablets were a hit too!」

「The stay went extremely well. The place was top notch. Extremely clean and well kept campground. I will absolutely stay here again.」

The shower dripped 24x7.The shower curtain was disgusting/dirty.There is no dishwasher and the staff does not hand clean the dishes well. Food on plates and water spots on the silverware. Who leaves used sink sponges/scrubbers for new guests to use? They do here. Grease on and in the kitchen utensil drawer. The coffee maker...

「We stayed in December, and the home felt warm, cozy, and perfect for the holiday season. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We also loved that it was pet-friendly—it made our trip even better to have our ES dog with us. Thank you for being such a caring and accommodating host. We truly appreciated your hospitality and loved our stay. We hope to return someday.」
