“Beautiful cottage in a lovely area. It was clean and spacious. Nice and quiet. The kids loved the pony in the field next to the cottage.”

“This quaint little cottage off of the entrance to Tollymore Forest is perfect to just get away and mend your mental health. I will definitely be there again, perhaps yearly if I can afford it! Jo is easy to contact and is most helpful with everything. Thank you Jo, you are so loved 💚”

“It was just as advertised and a perfect spot for our planned trip. Will be returning. ”

“The cottage is warm, comfortable and has a view of Killeavy castle. The hosts were kind and thoughtful. They had essentials waiting for us in the kitchen (tea,milk,bread,etc.) which were very much appreciated. Definitely need a car if you plan on staying here. Road noise may be an issue if you’re a light sleeper plus be very careful coming out of the driveway. The locals drive fast on this road.”

“Excellent accommodation. Wonderful place. The place was immaculate, so clean. The decor was excellent. I can that the host has put a lot thought into the decor of the home. Cannot fault it, comfy bed with high quality bedding. One of the best places I have stayed. It was so relaxing. I would recommend staying here if you want peace and quiet, clean accommodation and a great host. ”

We arranged the party for Rostrevor fir 13 July and we had family and friends coming in from everywhere across the world and UK. Paul was amazing pre stay answering a load of questions many unrelated to his house ! This allowed us to plan the whole week in Rostrevor for everyone. We stayed in the house with three other……

“This is our third time to stay at Oatlands Cottages and it won't be our last. The houses are so clean and comfortable with everything to make the stay enjoyable. There is also so much to see and do in the area. I especially love how quiet it is at night. I would have no hesitation in recommending these cottages. We will definitely return”

“Wonderful little jewel in the country! A great place to enjoy some quiet time surrounded by the animals on the farm. Peaceful walks through the trees….so relaxing.”

“We loved this property. It was perfect for our family of six, with a double, twin and family bedroom- everyone had their choice of bed. It was so tastefully decorated - we felt at home immediately.There was a very generous gift basket waiting for us which was really appreciated. But the icing on the cake was the homemade caramel ice-cream! Thank you for making our first stop in Northern Ireland ( after a long travel period coming from Canada) so memorable.”
