“What a charming B&B! A total surprise. It’s tucked in a beautiful farmland, yet very close to towns and cities. Svetlana kindly upgraded our room to a suit. Everything was perfect. The breakfast has many options with freshly baked scones, French omelet, pancakes, oatmeal and other goodies. We enjoyed our stay and strongly recommend the Clone House. ”

“We stayed with our lovely hosts Jo and Jim at their beautiful B&B. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived. Lovely Jo showed us to our room and it really did exceed expectations. Breakfast was delicious with perfectly cooked scrambled eggs and fresh coffee etc. Jo and Jim went over and beyond to make us feel at home. We will definitely be back. We can’t thank you enough Vanessa & Rory ”

“We were visiting Kilkenny and chose Kate’s Rest to stay at. The owner was so kind and took the time to chat and help us with anything we needed, it was a very personable experience. We stayed in a beautiful apartment (we had one double and two twin beds) what came with a kitchen and lovely open shower. The views are unbelievable and it was a great location. We would highly recommend a stay at Kate’s Rest. ”

“Fantastic location with beautiful rural views. Good signage so it was easy to find. Our room was modern, comfortable and very clean. Nellie is a wonderful host and her breakfasts truly tasty (especially the rashers!). This was a return visit after a gap of a few years and it remains our favourite choice to stay when visiting Thomastown.”

“This accommodating, family-run inn on the banks of the Avonmore and Avonbeg rivers -- the famed "meeting of the waters" is a comfortable and welcoming space in a recently refurbished inn from the late 1800s. Best for guests with access to a car, The Meetings is still very manageable without one, since the Local Link bus stops four times a day for travel to nearby Wicklow Town and other villages as well as the gorgeous Glendalough region with its famed walks and historic ruins. “Very good location in city. Parking place in side of back yard (behind of gate), very good spacious and safety. Room for single was also spacious. Bathroom was nice. Bed was comtable, I sleep very well. Breakfast was good. Personnel in hotel was very friendly and helpful, I got plenty of good information of city.”
