“We spent 5 nights at Oscar's by the Sea with our family with young kids. There was so much space to play for our kids, they loved staying there. We appreciated the clean rooms, the great view, the clean and good equipped kitchen and the possibilty to do our laundry. We really enjoyed our stay at this peaceful, wonderful place! Also the communication with Chris was very good. Thank you again for having us.”

“The cottage was a perfect place for our group of four long time friends to have a relaxing place to stay. The cottage and grounds were so beautiful. Much love and work has gone into making this place so pleasant. Richard and Rosemary were amazing hosts. From being there to greet us (with fresh baked bread), answering any questions and providing recommendations for our visit, they truly did everything to make our visit wonderful and memorable. ”

“The only issues we had were some mold that needed cleaning around the clothes washer door gasket seal and the fact that the clothes dryer in the garage didn't seem to function on some settings. Otherwise the house was comfortable and well located with Nicola being a considerate host.”

“This was a little tougher than expected. However it was altogether nice. More like renting a resort cottage. Would be great for young couples or groups of friends. Lots of little extras having a full kitchen and laundry. Shower not really an option. Local area very quiet. This also meant few options for pubs or restaurants except the local grocer. Slept well with the windows open and enjoyed magnificent views of the mournes and water.”

“Jack was a great host and responded immediately to any questions which we really appreciated. The space was very clean and more than adequate for our group of 5 and was in a very quiet, safe neighborhood. The only downside was that there was no place walkable to get to any restaurants or grocery stores so we had to Uber more than we had expected. ”

“The place is situated right across from the ocean and not super far from Belfast just need to plan on the country roads to get there. Beautiful countryside. Good fish and chips place beside us and they were very helpful for us. However there were some things lacking. There is no information for you when you enter. We had no hot water until our friendly Chipbuddy neighbours showed us how to turn it on. Yes you can have 12 people stay but some of the beds were NOT comfortable and so those should……

“Check in was easy, and we were allowed early access. The house was ideal for our needs, as 5 adults doing city hops, comfy and convenient. The loft room has a really low ceiling but I’m short so I took that room. It isn’t luxury, but it’s cheap and ideal if you just need somewhere to chill and rest/sleep.”
