“A short break, overall a good time had by all. However while the overall condition of the cottage was good it could have done with a real deep clean. Bedding was obviously used and the mattress was uncomfortable as you could feel the springs through it. Furniture inside also left a lot to be desired from a comfort point of view. No Wi-Fi. TV basic and small. Rooms small. But on the positive this is really well located to local amenities, fully enclosed large back garden was great for the dog.……

“Excellent host, great communication. Cottage was beautifully decorated and spotless clean. Has more than you need. Everything is high quality. Appliances are good brands and all in good condition. Location is close enough to towns so there is plenty of good shops and restaurants yet the cottage is in a quiet natural environment. We woke up to birds singing. ”

“Loved the remote location and cleanliness. House had everything we needed. We loved the sheep in the road and the twisty drive up to the house. Beautiful view out the front window. Had some wonderful fish dinners at Tara hotel in Killybegs. On the downside the mattresses were not comfortable for any of us. They were thin in the two big rooms and in the twin room it was old style and very bouncy. ”

“Perfect get away home with beautiful views!”

“Great place to stay, very well equipped and comfy beds. Very clean and well laid out. Beautiful location. Excellent hosts.”

“The property was beautiful! Cozy, quiet and close to town! Luved the cows close by!”

“A fantastic place to stay. My elderly parents required an ensuite and this fitted the bill perfectly. Fresh flowers greeted us on the fining table. Great selection of leaflets showing you things to do in the west coast of Ireland. Would highly reccomend a visit to Parkes Castle followed by a boat ride on Lough Gill stopping at Dooley Park https://roseofinnisfree.com/ . The house is fantastic location to Sligo town, strandhill, rosses point, just under an hour to Knock airport, 2 hours from……

“Fantastic location for visiting the Sliabh Liag cliffs. Walking distance to local pub, visitor center, and cafe. It’s a simple property but somewhere I’d consider staying again.”

“Exactly as I had hoped. Clean, comfortable, well appointed and excellent location from which to base my planned activities.”

“Excellent stay and fantastic hosts.”

“We had a wonderful stay. House is exactly as described. It is bright, clean and very comfortable. It is set in a beautiful rural location within easy distance of the town of Ballyconell. It is a great base for exploring the many tourist attractions of counties Cavan and Fermanagh. The host Francis is very friendly and helpful.”
