“OMG - the first thing you notice arriving at Josephine’s property is the stunning garden. My partner is a gardener and was in heaven. It truly is stunning and clearly much loved! The property is simply adorable; well appointed, cozy, comfortable, warm, and charming. We had everything we needed and lots of storage to boot! There is a deck area for sunning (alas it rained when we arrived, but would have been wonderful if it was sunny) AND a patio under a pergola - amazing … We would……

“We absolutely loved our time at The Snug. We went to Slieve League cliffs one day (beautiful not to be missed!)Donegal town one day and had a delicious meal at the Blueberry Cafe and explored the town and Donegal Castle. We ordered food from TJs takeaway and ate in Mac's pub. ( Edel is an absolute angel) We went to the Marina Cafe in Killybegs 2 times. Everyone was so so friendly!! We loved our little place in Dunkineely....we felt like locals. Everyone knew of it when we shared where we were……

“Hugely spacious rooms, well equipped kitchen with full refrigerator/freezer, full oven/range, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, electric kettle, coffee machine (no pods), iron (no board), clothes rack, lots of hangers. Only negative, kitchen is up 3 flights of nice wide stairs. Great restaurant/bar on site. Groceries within easy walking distance. Safe quiet area. Tranquil and private.”

“What a treat! Our kids loved seeing the llamas and walking down to the water and seeing the cows and the sheep. It was a nice change of peace for us to be able to come back and have a cup of tea. The shower was nice and hot, and it was just enough space for two adults and two kids. We would definitely come back! Great base for exploring Sligo area and local beaches. ”
