“The villa was stunning - the pool - the patio and the setting were outstanding. Plenty of space and property for all. The fireplace in the main villa was a highlight for us. We were impressed with the cleanliness.”

“Helt fantastisk værtspar, der bød på kaffe og snak i køkkenet ved ankomst. Ved aftentid kom værten og spurgte om jeg ville se månenog det viste sig at hendes mand var astro fotograf, sikken en oplevelse, fik endda set jupiter med 3 af månerne. En oplevelse uden lige, som bare var en ekstra bonus. Værelset var en hel lejlighed restaureret perfekt i gammel stil. Morgenmaden overdådig og igen med hyggeligt selskab af værten og en god snak inden jeg kørte videre. Jeg vil helt sikkert komme igen hvis……

“Marleen and Raf were the perfect hosts. Anything we needed, booking restaurants, advice on places to visit, they did all this graciously. The property was exceptionally clean, the pool was spacious with plenty of sun beds, umbrellas and a lovely shaded pagoda area with further seating. Within the property, the shower needs some attention, the jets don't work, the seals are coming off and the water is not draining properly. The covers on the sofa and armchairs were quite stained and need……

Le lieu est superbe, la piscine chaude, les chambres spacieuses et une très bonne communication avec le propriétaire avant d'arriver. C'est une chance de pouvoir séjourner dans ce chateau”

“We stayed here with our 2 children and it was the highlight of our touring holiday. Andy and Jules are lovely hosts and made us feel really at home. The house and gardens are spectacular, a little piece of heaven! Lovely swimming pool which was immaculate, as was everything else. Jules is also a fantastic cook and we will remember our table d' hote for a long time and how Andy and Jules looked after our family. “We had a good time, but unfortunately there were an invasion of bugs, nothing the owners could help, but it was not very nice for us to have them everywhere. The house is really nice and full of charm. More of roustic charm type of house. A bit far away from town and stores, you really need a car. We aimed to play golf, but the golf courses are not in best shape, hope they will improve for coming years. The owners are really nice and helpful.”

“Nous avons passés une semaine très agréable dans le logement de Keith et Kate, la maison est très confortable et vraiment bien équipée. Nous avons aussi beaucoup apprécié le jardin fleuri et la piscine bien évidemment. Keith et Kate sont très accueillants et disponibles si besoin tout en restant discrets. Nous souhaitions des vacances au calme dans un bel endroit et c’est exactement ce que nous avons trouvé.”

“This is a lovely if basic hotel in a gorgeous location but it’s very remote and the little lane to get there is single track so perhaps not great in the dark. The food in the renowned restaurant is excellent with menus at €25, €35 and €45. However breakfast at €12 per person offers minimal choice and quantity and some may wish to decline it. Overall this is a brilliant establishment if you’re luck enough to get one of the small number of their rooms.”

“Malgré notre réservation sur Hôtel.com, nous n’avons pas pu séjourner dans cette charmante auberge, le site n’ayant pas retenu le fait que j’étais une personne à mobilité réduite et qu’il me fallait une chambre en Rez de chaussée. L’hôtel ne disposait d’aucune chambre de ce type et je ne peux pas monter un étage. Mais nous avons eu affaire à des gens adorables : les propriétaires ont passé une heure et demie à rechercher une solution pour nous et nous ont trouvé une cha d’hôtes adaptée ! Et……

“Quel accueil ! On s'est sentis comme à la maison, c'est super après une journée de route. La chambre était spacieuse et suffisamment bien équipée, il n'y a que la moquette murale à changer selon moi. Pour le reste, une équipe vraiment adorable, un petit-déjeuner avec des produits locaux d'une qualité incroyable et gargantuesque. Une adresse que je recommande.”
