「The property is in a really great area. The home itself is a great place to stay for a vacation, with many beds and enough rooms. However, the bathrooms and kitchen seemed not well maintained. While we did not need to use the kitchen, we were not keen to use the Bathroom for a shower since we didnt like it . Overall good stay, except clenliness of the place.」

「A group of family/friends enjoyed our stay at this house for the ECU Regional Baseball Tournament. It was an easy 20 minute drive to the ballpark. The house had 5 spacious bedrooms and plenty of living space for everyone to gather. The patio/sunroom area was a nice area for the early risers to catch up while others slept in undisturbed. We enjoyed a short walk 1/2 mile to town where there is a brewery and a couple of restaurants. The house has plenty of parking with dual driveways on both sides...

「Stayed here for 4 nights, during our move out of the area. Home is comfortable and our daughter loved the kid touches. The basket of toys and books were so much fun for her. The beds are super comfortable and the rooms are well appointed. Two minor downsides, the kitchen showed some remnants of bugs. The owner said she was going to call pest control, but this was obviously missed by the cleaning crew. Additionally, there is quite a walk from where you park (near the garage) to the front door....

「This apt/condo was awesome. We were in New Bern for a wedding. We did not need our car. We were right downtown and could walk to River front. The apartment was so clean and comfortable. 「We enjoyed our stay primarily for the cleanliness and location. It is across from a cemetery, but that didn’t bother us. Quiet neighbors, my husband said. But we loved the covered side porch and the comfy bed. Only down sides were the bathroom was very small, especially the shower, and the floors are pretty uneven, which would be a challenge for older guests (including the steep and slippery stairs up to the primary bedroom). Also, it appears that the owners suite is located just down the hall...

「This clean and cozy VRBO is positioned perfectly within historical downtown Newbern. The Tryon Palace is directly across the street. Atlantic beach is 45 minutes away. 「A little pricey for me, and the house itself I would rate as funky but chic, but its right on the creek with beautiful views and a short drive to town. Eagles flying about.
