BLUF: for a peaceful, mostly quiet (you can hear some traffic), very pet friendly stay with no neighbors, no hassles and you don't require a 5-star experience with hot tub and Egyptian cotton bedding, this place is AWESOME!Pros:Location: 15 minutes from two BEAUTIFUL dog-friendly public beaches.Convenience: Gas station and convenience store within a 5-minute walk.Proximity: 20 minutes from scenic Saugatuck (which is a picturesque waterside community on the Kalamazoo lake/river mouth with great people, great food, TONS of outdoor activities in the area and an amazing atmosphere and all dog friendly to boot!) and 40 minutes from Holland.The CottageVibe: Rustic, comfortable, dated, but fully functional.Amenities: Two decent queen beds, 55-inch TV with all streaming apps, and a capable climate control unit.Kitchen: Medium fridge and well-stocked with essentials (Keurig, pans, dishes, utensils).Bathroom: Good shower pressure and temperature, though the handle is stiff.Flooring: Polished concrete with an area rug.Cons:Bugs: Ants will appear overnight if crumbs are left on the floor.Connectivity: Zero AT&T indoor cell service; spotty reception near the lake.Pillows: Very firm (recommend bringing your own).Missing Items: No broom, dustpan, mop, bucket, outdoor trash can and no microwave.

Good location for our needs. King sized beds were very comfortable. This rental allowed pets which was very helpful. However, this is a metal building with lots of gaps for small insects to get inside. We are campers so this was more like glamping. Fees were far too excessive. Actual rental rates per night, not bad. Needs more blankets and a broom and dust pan.
