“This cabin has been one of my favorite stays and I've been coming to Snowshoe regularly for 15 years. Very secluded and cozy cabin with amazing mountain views. Modern entertainment inside. The fireplace out on the deck is a great place to relax. Kitchen has everything you need to cook whatever you want. Communication with the host, as well as check in/checkout went very smooth. Fully stocked Dollar General and gas station roughly 12-15min. away.”

“We stayed for a weekend getaway. The house is clean, well-equipped, and cozy. The deck provided beautiful views of the river and deer. We walked the Elk River Trail across just the street, visited the Bigfoot Museum, and enjoyed our Elk River Rail Explorer adventure. We would definitely stay here again”

“Our stay at Danny’s rental was excellent. He provided wonderful communication, was attentive and quick to respond when needed, and the check-in process was a breeze. The apartment was clean, modern, and the arcade and board games were a hit with my nephews! There were some necessities provided, like a keurig and some coffee K-cups, plenty of plates/cups/utensils, a hair dryer, soap and travel shampoo/conditioner, and it’s helpful there is a washer and dryer with detergent provided if needed. “Very nice property, good for hiking. Location is centrally located to attractions. The host was there when needed. We had a great time. We’ve been staying at rentals for 25 years and this was one of the best.”

“I would not recommend this campground. I left after one night. The owner lists amenities that do not exist on the property. For example, it lists a communal pool (reality is two swim holes) and a pond. States there is a grill but does not state that it is located across the campground for communal use. The main reason why we left is due to the inability to connect to the Wi-Fi (as listed). I was depending on this amenity to perform job duties while visiting. The Wi-Fi was at best……

“Ok, this place is a value rental. If you want fancy, move on. But if you want a place to lay your head after skiing that is the best price around, this is your place. Cons: it is above a large convenience store/ gas station so you'll hear their music clearly through the floor (that wasn't fun) and the general noise of the store and it smells a bit because it is an old place. Pros: the price, close to the mountain for skiing, close to the Ski Barn for ski rentals, good well-stocked convenience……

“We had a wonderful time at this property. We were in town for a family reunion and were so thankful to find something in Craigsville. We truly enjoyed the tub and the shower. My husband is thinking about redoing our bathroom now! The house was so clean and comfortable. There were so many thoughtful touches. Looking forward to a future stay here!”
