“We loved this cabin and the ease of check in and check out! I hosted 7 HS teen athletes for a leadership retreat and this cabin was the perfect place! It was very clean, lots of towels, fully stocked kitchen with extra paper towels, garbage bags and coffee. I brought the extras but didn’t need to use them. The area was beautiful, especially in the snow. Beds for everyone, the hot tub was clean and ready for use (with extra towels), and we also played pool. Everything was terrific! ”

“The directions to the cabin were easy to follow . The communication was minimal but accurate and timely.The location was very good, out of town and near the state parks. The cabin was very very clean! It was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The view off the back deck was very nice. A very relaxing experience overall. ”

“Overall we were very happy with our stay. Upon check in you will have to call the host directly to obtain the pin for the door. The cabin was very clean and maintained however there was a pretty bad gnat problem in the bathroom. Mostly confined to the sink, however did make their way out into the kitchen area so we had to make sure we had our food secured. The cabin we had was the same layout to the photos and same amenities however it was not the same cabin as pictured. The hot tub was great. I……

“I had a lovely stay at the Jay Bear Retreat's cozy cabin for my solo hiking trip to Hocking Hills. The cabin was immaculately cleaned, and it had everything I needed for meals, showers, and a comfortable sleep after a day of hiking. Kids loved Hazel the horse next door and the outdoor games was a nice touch. The poperty was mostly surrounded by trees making it feel like your own little peaceful retreat!!
