“Historic chateau. Spacious room. Lovely breakfast included. Parking available”

“Breakfast was wonderful and pleasant”

“Idéalement situé pour visiter les plages du débarquement mais aussi les villes environnantes. Les hôtes sont adorables et de très bon conseil. Excellent petit déjeuner. Village très calme. Un magnifique séjour.”

“The owner was personable and attentive. So much memorabilia. It was fantastic. We will stay again! The room was clean, good was fresh and great. And, one house off the beach!! Couldn't ask for a better experience.”

“Hôte très agréable. Grande chambre. Excellent petit-déjeuner.”

“Pros: Tolles Internet! Leckeres Frühstück!”

“Valerie was very accommodating with any questions we had or for giving us tips such as when our train was cancelled and we had to get a taxi to Caen. It was nice to have breakfast waiting for us in the morning when we had an early tour and she always had a homemade dessert. It’s a simple lodging and the location is perfect.”

“My husband didn’t like having to go up 60+ stairs to our room and he found the bed a bit ‘lumpy’. We didn’t have breakfast as we left at 6.30 am to catch the ferry. Stair carpet looks tired and ready for replacement. Conveniently located for the ferry port and near to the beach front. Plenty of restaurants offering good menu choices in the area.”

“A lovely old house in a secluded village in Normandy, with a few spacious rooms that have been tastefully refurbished. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast is good, although I would have preferred it to be served a little earlier. The one area that could be improved is the amenities, which are almost non-existent. There was no soap, no shampoo, and very little else provided in the room. Nevertheless, the overall experience was very positive and pleasant. The location……

“Expedia won’t let me say everything I wanted to say but this is a great place and I would highly recommend it to anyone.”

“Charming stay in a beautiful, classical manse in Bayeaux in the Normandy region. Though not in Bayeux town, the location is convenient for a full-day D-Day experience (my reason for visiting). The owner recommended a great place for dinner and provided home-made apricot and red currant confitures, both lovely with croissants and breads.”

“Pros: Camera enorme e letto comodissimo! La colazione è stata eccezionale, con prodotti freschi della cascina come le loro fragole e marmellate. La proprietaria si è dimostrata estremamente gentile, disponibile e sempre pronta a darci ottimi consigli per il soggiorno. Struttura super consigliata!”

“Pros: Gastvrijheid was top! Elke ochtend een heerlijk ontbijt met eigen gebakken cake of taart en eigengemaakte jam. Dorothee en haar man zijn uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De fietsen die we geleend hebben fietsten fantastisch! Wij hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad.”
