This motel was not worth the price we paid for it. $200 for a room that should have been around $70 anywhere else. The room itself was clean, but it smelled terrible. It was marked as non-smoking, but that seems questionable to me. We went across the street and bought some Febreeze at the Safeway to spray down the room. The linens smelled clean, it was just the overall room smell that was not pleasant. The room was clean. It even had a live plant decorating a corner. The check in was quick, but hardly any information was given. I read that there was a breakfast provided when I booked the room, but I could not find where that was being served. There wasn’t anyone at the desk when we checked out to ask. I had to just leave my room keys in a box on the counter. It is safe to say I was disappointed in my stay. I wasn’t expecting a five star room by any means, but I was expecting to receive what was advertised. There was a woman who seemed mentally ill screaming profanities at everyone and no one when we were checking in. This was unsettling to my daughter and she felt very unsafe the rest of the time we were there. The parking lot is shared by a Taco Bell, so there was a lot of traffic. And the motel was sandwiched between two one-way streets, so there was traffic on both sides.
