"A lovely property with a large garden, beautiful floral hanging baskets and pots. Mike was so welcoming and friendly. The cottage is traditionally furnished and comfortable. The property, although quietly located is only minutes away from the main road which gives you access to likes of Axminster and the Jurassic coast. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. "Our stay was spoilt by the unpleasant verbal and aggressive attitude of our neighbours. Because we had it transpired, parked in their designated parking bay on our first day. We did receive the instructions for the correct parking space for our property until the following day. I would suggest the correct bay is marked clearly with the house number, so future guests don’t experience the same rudeness and verbal abuse we did."

"We had a really lovely stay in room 19! The highlights for us were definitely the incredibly friendly, helpful staff and the delicious meals we enjoyed in the pub. Plus, the bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, giving us a fantastic night’s sleep every single night. The room itself was very clean, though it is worth noting that the setup is exceptionally basic compared to what we've experienced elsewhere. It’s a very simple space with just one plug socket available (which requires unplugging the kettle or radio to use), and the electric shower has quite low water pressure. That being said, the great hospitality, cleanliness, and comfort of the bed made for a very pleasant stay overall!""

"A really enjoyable stay, beautiful comfortable room, great bathroom & toiletries, breakfast was lovely & dinner in the restaurant was very good but the best thing about our whole stay was the staff, they were all so friendly & welcoming & went above and beyond to make out stay very memorable. The hotel is in a brilliant position 2 mins from the beach & shops all around, they were on site parking was a godsend as parking is in short supply in Lyme, I would definitely stay here again, if I did have a complaint the WiFi was very hit & miss & we could only get bbc on the tv but we were out most evenings so didn’t matter too much."
