「Disappointing - this was not a "castle like" building. At first glance it looked pretty great (once we found it - google maps sent us across the roadway), but reception was stationed at the bar; not the reception desk.
Okay... crisps were 2£ for each wee bag at the bar. The restaurant was not open for dinner on Sunday or Monday... given the VERY out of the way location we this was problematic.
The king's suite only had a double bed... not even a queen. The shower didn't drain and required...

「I checked in about 7:00pm and my Booked room had been given to another guest. I was given the “last” room - a twin with basin in the room (tells you how outdated it was).
Website also clearly states bar is open till 12 for guests. By the time I picked my partner up from Inverness airport and got back to hotel about 11:20pm (both looking forward to a “refreshment” after her delayed flight) everything was closed down for the night.

「Lovely last minute stay. Sea views are truly spectacular. We are very glad we opted for that room option, with the bonus of a gorgeous freestanding bath and excellent in room amenities, well stocked mini bar and lovely toiletries. The pool and hot tub are spotless with plenty of seating. breakfast was also delicious. Firmly on the must return list!」
