"We spent four nights in the amazing tree house overlooking the Belize River. The beautiful swinging Howler Monkeys were right outside the house only feet away. They can be noisy neighbors but the are so worth it! The hosts are amazing and do everything possible to make this a jungle home away from home. Their pool is fantastic. Relaxing to take a dip in the pool since it’s crocodile free, unlike the river in the other side of the house. Truly made memories that will last a lifetime. "

"The property was spacious. All necessities were there. We enjoyed our stay a would recommend it for a place to stay if Belize city needs to be not so far away. I would suggest following the directions to the property precisely. I didn't and had a difficult time finding it because of that reason. "

"While in the air on the way to Belize, I finally received a response from the owners to my request for check-in instructions. (Below) Message from the host Good morning, we have to sincerely apologize. We have not been active on this platform and we are not in compliance with the requirements here."

"Be prepared to live out of your suitcase, no storage, very small casita. Lots of issues with hot water, due to being of grid. Long ways from San Pedro or secret beach so golf cart is a must. "

"The Lake View Condo is the perfect location. Being close to the airport and one of the main highways makes it a convenient location to explore Belize. The owners provide many amenities that make your stay comfortable. We would definitely recommend staying!"

"This is one of two units in Naz's building. We stayed in the other one first and then moved to this one for the duration of our stay. They are on the second floor of a building located in the center of Orange Walk Town, across from the central park. Great for people watching with a front deck and a screened-in rear deck. We didn't need the bedroom air conditioning as the windows on the south side are louvers with screens. We weren't bothered by any biting insects and even the few flies...

"I am obsessed with the cuteness of this property and the bungalow!! It was the petfect spot for a break!! So close to the airport. The hosts have thought of everything and I mean everything!! Michelle was great at communicating and making arrival and leaving a piece of cake!! I highly extra highly recommend this place! You just have to experience to believe it. It more than lived up to the photos and had tons of amenities and extras!! "

"Absolutely LOVELY bungalow ... and LOVELY hosts! I can't say enough good things about this property -- it's an oasis! Wonderfully designed, meticulously detailed, truly an escape. Very secure, safe, and private. We only stayed one night -- a very convenient location near the Belize City airport -- but we would have been happy to stay much longer! I am certain that if/when I return to Belize, a stay at this bungalow will be included as part of the vacation! (We stayed 7 days in Hopkins Bay, not in Belize City ... so just needed 1 night at Gecko before flying out.) Thank you, Gecko, Michelle, and John! Can't wait to return ... "

"The hotel was amazing! The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The food at the hotel restaurant was delicious. The views of the river from our balcony were spectacular. And, it just felt so peaceful sitting at the outdoor palapa-style restaurant/bar, enjoying the quiet air, listening to the birds, and having fun watching for our crocodile friend in the river, lol! We were in room 1A which was on the lower level, closest to the restaurant. It had a nice corner view of the river, just lovely. The bed was comfortable and we had hot water (as opposed to our neighbors who claimed they never got hot water in their shower, so I guess we lucked out!). We booked the Lamanai Mayan Ruin tour through the hotel. They picked us up at their dock right at the hotel which was super convenient in that we didn't have to get transportation to the pick-up spot. The Orange Walk town is about a 10 min drive from the hotel, but the staff was able to get us a taxi to the town so that was a fun day checking out the main town. The ONLY issue I had was the shower situation. It was a smallish corner-style shower with no door or curtain, so water would get all over the bathroom floor after we showered. It made a mess and we had to be careful not to slip on the wet floor after showering. Other than that, everything was great, and we would definitely come back to this hotel!"

"Our stay at Abezza was fantastic and everything was amazing. We stayed for 3 nights, and Melanie was a great host. The food was delicious, and the Spa is world class. Highly recommend getting a mood mud massage. 10/10 would recommend staying here and I will definitely be booking another trip here in the future! "
