“Property was exactly as described. ”

“The property was beautifully kept. The inside was very clean and had a cabin feel with the decor. Everything was provided for a comfortable stay... pots, pans, dishes, silverware, coffee maker, toaster, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, garbage bags, etc...There was easy access to the water down a short hill with natural step built in. We were able to fish and let the dogs play in the water, then up to the well kept yard to let the dogs sun themselves dry.”

“Beautiful property. Very private and lots of land with great view. Loved sitting out on the deck and enjoying the surroundings. It’s a great place for stargazing. Added bonus: The beds are really comfortable with high quality pillows.”

“My family and I had a wonderful stay at this cabin. It is extremely clean, and the views from the porch are beautiful. At the cabin, we saw deer, a turkey, a coyote and 2 bald eagles (1 adult and 1 juvenile). We were lucky enough to see elk on our first night in Benezette. We finished our our getaway with a bonfire and s’mores at the cabin. I would highly recommend staying at this location. Communication was excellent as well. ”

Joe was very responsive with any questions we had leading up to our stay. Just a couple notes and why we didn’t give 5 stars- the rooms were a little less private due to gaps……

“A cozy cottage with all the ammenities needed for a comfortable stay. The cottage has been updated since the pictures of it have been posted by the owner. It's bright and feels like a large place. I expect a place to be clean and this place was super clean, from the bathroom to the baseboards. The outdoor space was pefect for us to eat on the back deck, lounge by the campfire, and read on one of the many swings/gliders/chairs between the front pourch and back yard. There were even a set of……

“Quiet, comfy.”

“Wanted to spend a weekend somewhere we'd never been. The apartment we stayed in offered the ability to be able to fix our own meals, sleep in comfort and be walking distance from a multi-flavor soft ice cream shop. We were from 2 hours away. Visited the Benezette Elk Center as well as some of the Elk viewing areas (though we didn't expect to see any, as it was the wrong time of day and season). We also took a short hike. The drive took close to an hour from the Hilltop Hideaway. Although……

“I would like to give this property as many stars as we was able to see …. A MILLION STARS!!!! Everything was perfect. You can tell our host has pride in his property and wants his guest to thoroughly enjoy their stay! Perfect location for stargazing! Loved the Lumber museum right across the street and my adult kids were able to rent an ATV just steps away from the cabin! A million stars!!!!”
