BEAUTIFUL LAKE HOUSE

WE HAD A WONDERFUL STAY, LEN WAS SO ACCOMODATING. THE HOUSE AND PROPERTY WERE WONDERFUL, ENJOYED THE DOCK AREA AND WAS SO PEACEFUL. WE RENTED A BOAT FOR 2 DAYS, OTHERWISE WE NEVER LEFT THE HOUSE. WE REALLY ENJOYED IT, WOULD LIKE TO COME BACK SOON!!

ON the lake (wow!) but covered dock NOT provided

Great location on the lake. Fun to watch all the boating traffic and enjoyed the water access ourselves. However, it is clear in the pictures and the listing that a covered dock is included with this property, (even says so in the TITLE of the listing) but the lift was broken in the up position, so we couldn't use it AND the owner said the slip is NOT included with the house ever, because usually their boat is in it. I asked for a partial refund, because this was the number one reason I chose this house. In fact, I said so in my initial booking/reservation message but was not informed at that point. So we used the exposed and uncovered finger pier, and no attempt whatsoever to offer any compensation for the inconvenience was made. Evolve totally ignored my inquiries after verifying that the dock was supposed to be included. I wasn't looking for a full refund, just a gesture would have been appreciated. So, we did our best to muscle the cover on and off to protect from the thunderstorms and torrential rain. If you have a boat, you know how much this detracts from the vacation experience. The kitchen and floors were pretty dirty also, but the home really is super cute and reasonably well-equipped. We LOVED the screened porch and had a great time on Lake Greenwood in spite of the dock and cleanliness issues.
