“Clean and close to everything.”

“We enjoyed are stay for the weekend at the beach. The front desk employees were nice. Pros: The room is spacious for my husband in a wheelchair. The beds were comfortable even the bunk beds for the kids. The employees were very attentive on making sure the area was clean. They also provide a black rubber ramp for in front of the hotel room for wheelchair access. The fan attached to the wall helped us sleep comfortably. Cons: The door to access the toilet and bath/shower area is not wheelchair……

“I got 2 rooms and neither of them had and hot water what so ever. The a/c in 1 room didn't work at all. The refrigerator in the other room didn't work at all. I'm a bigger guy and I literally could not fit threw the opening "maybe 12" given to enter the shower at all. Honestly this place is bottom of the mill trash motel.”

“So when we got there check in was fine. We got to our room and the kids wanted to go to the pool and we had zero towels. No hand towels. No regular towels. No wash cloths. Nothing. When I went downstairs to ask for some and the worker gave me one towel. I said there is 5 of us. We need 4 more and some wash cloths and something to put on the floor and she came back with 2 more towels. I was like 2 MORE PLEASE. The lady behind us said they didn’t have bedding on their beds when they got their room……

“Clean room Parking”

“They really need to cl3an the room and the bath tub was gross will never stay there again. And I would never recommend it to anyone.”

“Clean towels had black marks all over them, we were not provided blankets. We only had a sheet. 2 of the 3 lamps were missing covers, bathtub had cracks, bathroom fan cover missing with parts covered in dust. $81 a night was the only positive”

“We arrived at the location and the guy in the front said the system what down and it wouldn’t be up for hours or until 7am. we couldn’t get a refund because no one responded to our message we sent. I had to spend more money for a different hotel.”

“My husband and I loved our stay at the Carr Mansion! This historical home was charming, clean, and comfortable. Joellyn was a fabulous host; she served delicious breakfast and offered several tips/ recommendations for activities around the island. The location of the home is near to several other historical landmarks/ museums, the Strand, and the Seawall. We highly recommend booking a stay at the Carr Mansion for a relaxing trip with a home-like feel that typical hotels just can’t match. We will……
