Country Getaway at Crystal Creek - Sleeps 9

Lush property with 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom house, potbelly fire, running creek and animals.
Our beautiful property in Upper Crystal Creek is a true country getaway. Located 15 mins out of Murwillambah and 1h 45 from Brisbane, the 30 acres is lush and green and makes you feel relaxed the minute you drive in. The house is freshly painted throughout and has everything you'll need for a comfy stay. It sleeps 9 people comfortably.

We have smart tv’s and Wifi for added convenience plus the house is fully air-conditioned.

There is an outdoor fire pit sitting area which is beautiful throughout the whole day.
There are soccer goals and trampoline.

The main room has a very comfortable king bed. It is attached to the bathroom which has a shower and a bath tub.
Bedroom 2 has a single bed and a king single
Bedroom 3 has another king single.
Bedroom 4 Upstairs has a queen bed and a king single trundle.

The kitchen and living area is open with a potbelly fire place in the corner. We always have plenty of wood so you can burn a fire all year round.
Upstairs is a kids area with a Tv and another queen size bed.

The creek is always flowing and is a beautiful spot to sit and take some time out. We have sheep, cows, alpaca and a gorgeous and very friendly Donkey named Thor who loves cuddles and company.

There is a beautiful cafe, nursery and gift shop on the property that does a great breakfast or lunch, coffee cakes and milkshakes.

There is a golf buddy available to hire for an additional charge.
There is a huge picnic table down by the creek.

We have beautiful caretakers Richard and Carol that are around and available if you need anything. They keep to themselves in their own residence and you won’t even know they are there. They will take the kids to feed the animals. They can also manage and facilitate rides on a small quad bike on request.

We have bought the adjoining property that we are now renting out a 4 bedroom house which sleeps 8. Please enquire for info and pics as I'm still setting up the page for it.

We have had the property since December 2017 and bit by bit we have been doing improvements on the house. Our 3 boys and 1 girl who roam freely and explore for hours on end when we visit. We are so blessed to be able to get out of the city and off technology to come and cleanse our minds with this place.

We don't allow pets sorry.

We had a wonderful week here. The kids loved roaming the property, feeding the animals, riding their bikes & exploring the creek. The home was cosy with the fireplace & enjoyed fires outside under the stars. We'll definitely be back.

A relaxing stay
Great property located on the banks of Crystal Creek. Kids loved exploring the creek area, feeding the animals and roasting marshmallows in the outdoor fire pit. Very relaxing for the adults. The house was well presented and comfortable.

We stayed eight days with three adults and four children plenty of room and has lots of activities such as swimming in the river, golf cart to travel around the farm and animals to feed lovely care takers that will help you with absolutely anything while giving you the privacy you need. i will ge back!

Great Getaway
2nd year I have been with a group of 7 friends. Wonderful property, clean, spacious, serene. Caretakers inteoduce themselves make you feel welcome and then leave you to your stay. The recent extension is great extensing the property up to the cafe. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a little piece and quiet.

We love this property
We have stayed at this property with friends 3 times in the last 18 months. Each time has been great. The property has had some lovely renovations recently which have made the property even more comfortable. The actual grounds of the property and creek are stunning and the kids love driving around, seeing the animals, exploring the creek system, having a nightly fire etc. Each time we have appreciated how responsive Loren has been to our requests (we were a bit more needy this most recent time) and the property mangers on site, Carol and Richard are very accommodating, kind generous with their help and time. We highly recommend staying here. Thank you Loren, Carol and Richard, we have loved the experiences we have had here and the memories it has created for little our family.

Simply Fabulous
Fun fun fun And comfortable stay We could only stay 4 nights and had to spend some days away from the property which was a shame because if (and when) we return I would stay put for the duration So much to do for the kids and adults alike Being outside 90% of the time and active. Wonderful stuff The adults particularly loved the soccer field, creek, picnic table and fire pit by the river for drinks on sunset The kids loved absolutely everything… especially the cows, soccer field, golf buggy and table tennis table. We are grateful for the opportunity.

Beautiful, relaxing location
My friends and I had a fantastic weekend away at this property. The location is amazing with beautifully mown paddocks and a stunning creek. The house was great too and fitted the five of us in comfortably. We hope to return soon.

Everything you need!
A group of friends and I hired out this property for 3 nights, 4 days. The first thing you will appreciate is the location, which is not far out of Murwillumbah township. The property is lush, well looked after, and surrounded by a beautiful landscape of trees. The house itself is in good shape and we all were quite taken by it (it's adorable!) - renovated kitchen and bathroom in the upstairs bedroom. Fireplace if you need in the winter. Check-in was a breeze, the property caretaker's Carol and Richard were friendly and approachable but also not intrusive if you wished that. We joined in on feeding the animals with Carol. Plenty of spots for an outdoor fireplace and they mean it when they say there is adequate firewood! We love a good fire and had one every night. The creek on property is crystal clear, flowing and as deep as 3-4m in some spots. The owner provides a golf buggy so while the creek was walking distance, packing down a lunch and taking it creekside for the day was very easy. The same creek flows opposite the property where there is a rope-swing. All in all, we had an incredible time and we will definitely be back. Respect the property, it truly is a beautiful retreat away from home. Thank you Loren, Carol and Richard for having us.
