For years this was my favorite hotel because it's right by the train tracks and you can hear and see the trains. You can walk to the area with a couple restaurants. Unfortunately it has been a bit neglected and the rooms are not cleaned properly if at all. I hope they get their act together and take care of the property better.

Incredibly rude staff and unforgiving cancellation policy even in case of weather. We explained how we got stranded half way there due to our car breaking down and a snow storm and the managers only responds was “well rules are rules”

Everything was awesome. Employees behind check in desk were very helpful and friendly. Easy parking, rooms were clean and comfortable. Restaurants close by. Lots of shopping. Lots of places nearby to go visit and explore. I will definitely visit again.

Disappointing. We arrived at 2:10 and were told that they would charge us a $20 fee to check in 50 minutes early. Staff are indifferent. Breakfast provided was minimal. Run down appearance to the facility.

This hotel is extremely out of date. It is located right next to a railroad track. The train goes by at midnight and 4:30am. The plumbing in the room needs repairs. I do not recommend staying here at all.

I've stayed here before, but was disappointed during this stay because my room was pretty dirty. The bathroom was particularly gross. There were stains/steaks from a previous guest in the toilet, and mucus was caked up in the sink. There was also a hole in the wall that had not been repaired - it looked like a former guest had punched the wall? All together, it just made me feel uncomfortable, because I wondered what else had not been cleaned. I also think the breakfast is a bit disappointing. Most options are loaded full of sugar: waffles, honey buns, white bread, apple juice, sugary yogurt, etc. I'd like to see some healthier options available.

Being what is termed a "railfan" I liked the Hotels proximity to the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad and the CSX Railroads Mainline activity. What I did not like was the lack of any dining facilities at the Hotel and an impression of some neglect of the Hotels facilities i.e. a paper notice taped in the elevator that ice was available only on the 6th floor. Also empty vending machines and dirty window glass were noted during my stay there. The Staff however were very friendly and courteous.

Do not recommend this property!
The property should be torn down or gutted and remodeled. I can not believe that Wyndham has their name associated with such a 2-star property. The hotel is very dated and subpar. Elevators are very jerky and feel unsafe. The certification expired in 2022. See photos. Clearly a violation. The room looked like it had been recently painted, but curtains were dirty and torn. The black curtain was broken and would not close, so light comes in room in the morning. The windows were filthy. Sheets had stains, and the mattress was the worst I have ever slept on. It must have been years old. A dirty old sock was under the bed. Tables were dusty, and only the shower head worked, but I could not fill the tub. I do not recommend this property to anyone. I paid 350.00 for 2 nights in this dump. Hotel parking is limited and not convenient. Hallways smell like curry and drink and ice machines were only working on the 6th floor. I was highly disappointed in this property and Hotels.com for their rating.

Worst experience we've ever had. Room was not clean. When we opened the curtains the view was the roof and equipment. The window was filthy, looked like birds had smacked into it and no one cleaned the blood off. The toilet seat was broken. The tub looked dirty but I believe it was just stained and the bed was hard. All this was observed in the 3 minutes we were in our room. I went downstairs to speak to someone about changing rooms or getting a refund. The gentleman said i would have to talk to the manager but the manager was not there. He said all other staff even housekeeping is gone by 3pm when he arrives. He said they had no available rooms and that we could check out and he gave me the email for the manager. Since I booked through expedia, I had to contact them and they contacted the hotel who refused to refund. Parking also sucked. We will never book this hotel again.
