「Windows were dirty and there were cobwebs in the corners of the ceiling. The internet did not work in the two bedrooms on the bottom floor. It was hard to lock and unlock the front door. Other than that it was okay.」

「Mein Mann und ich sind mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln angereist. Das war möglich, aber langwierig. Es fährt ein Bus nach Ballycotton, aber nur zweimal am Tag. Da der Ort kein Lebensmittelgeschäft hat, ist es mühsam einzukaufen. Entweder man fährt in die nächste Stadt Midleton und kann aber erst nach 5 Stunden zurück oder man läuft zu einer 4 km weit entfernten Tankstelle über Straße mit regem Autoverkehr. 「Simple studio cottage in a quiet rural area near the charming and historic town of Lismore. Convenient distance from Waterford and coastal towns, as well as more inland towns of Cahir and Cashel. Friendly host Emil provided a comprehensive list of sights for day trips, restaurants and events, and instructions for the property. Good walking trails from both cottage and Lismore.」

「Wij hebben enorm genoten van dit huisje. Het is niet groot, maar heeft alle voorzieningen en is super schoon (wat ik heel fijn vind). Vooral de kleine extra details vond ik leuk, overal was aan gedacht; shampoo, douchecel, maandverband, extra toiletpapier, theezakjes, doosjes ontbijtgranen. Wij voelden ons heel welkom hierdoor.」

「We enjoyed it very much, it was quiet and cosy. The seaside is wonderful and nice for longer walks, specially the cliff walk nearby. We wanted to cook a fish soup, there was no greater pot - that was the only thing.」

「I was concerned as to why there were no reviews on this place yet, so just wanted to leave one for anyone else who's considering it. This cottage was spotless, with beautiful views. 「Our extended family enjoyed a quiet relaxing week at Curradoon House everything you could wish for was in the house and every room was in immaculate condition. The owners Miriam and Pat were very helpful. Although in the countryside we were only 20 mins from all the beaches on the Copper Coast and some of the party enjoyed a day riding the Waterford greenway, Lismore Castle and the Nire valley. The scenery in this part of Waterford is beautiful. A 5* stay.」
