“We had a fantastic stay at the Fern Hook Cabin. It was so clean, had everything we needed, the bed was super comfortable and my son who opted to sleep on the couch said that was super comfortable as well. Another mattress was provided, but he preferred sleeping on the couch. The ferns, redwoods and other vegetation surrounding the cabin was just so beautiful, lush and full of vibrant green colors. Also, if the host follows through with how they addressed our concerns, it will be a more positive experience. “This was the most stripped down, basic house I have ever rented and stayed in. Whole resort looks unkept and unloved. I can see why a bunch of them have FOR SALE signs posted. Rotting wood, weeds growing in gutters, uncut grass, peeling paint, rusted patio furniture, etc. Location was the only plus for us on this one.”

“The home was in fantastic setting - overlooking a valley to the wooded hills with a view of the ocean. It was impeccably clean with comfy furniture and beds. The dining and deck furniture were bar height to take advantage of the views. The deck was inspiring. Inside was quiet and welcoming.
