“The home was clean and well-appointed. Whaleshead beach was so, so fun. The only reason for a four-star review was the lack of toiletries. Every other home we've stayed in over a decade of using vacation home rentals have provided shampoo, conditioner, and soap, but this one didn't. We also haven't stayed in a home run by a vacation rental agency rather than the homeowner, so it seemed a little less personal. “Very clean cabin, stocked with all the essentials for a fun weekend. We had a wonderful time relaxing in the hot tub on the deck and watching the ocean. The check in and check out process was very easy. I had a few questions and Avari Management responded quickly and were very helpful. We had such a great time that we have already reserved another cabin for Thanksgiving weekend. I would highly recommend Whales Head Resort.”

“I rented this this BNB because I needed it last minute and it was the only one left. It was way to expensive for what we got. It wasn't as clean as it should have been. The silverware drawers weren't clean, the lazy susan in the cabinet was nasty, under the sink there was trash that was left that the cleaners didn't pick up.The refrigerator had rust and there was dirt in the cracks There was no where to hang towels in the bathroom so I eventually hung them on the cabinet doors to dry. “The owner Tom, was extremely accommodating and welcoming. The house is beautiful. The town that the house is located in, is extremely small, so being prepared for that helps. It is a shame that their neighbors have trash, cars, and other junk piled throughout their property, it kills the vibe of the entire area. However, that shouldn’t over shadow how much love and effort the owners have put into their home. Thank you for a wonderful stay!”

“The tiny house is located about 8 miles north of Brookings. It's a cute, older, little park model mobile home nestled in the trees at the Whaleshead Resort. It sits back away from the road and is surrounded by vegetation and seems very private. Parking is adequate. The resort is a not really a resort anymore, but rather a nicer trailer park located across Highway 101 from the Whaleshead beach. The '''resort" consists of several loops with mostly tiny homes -many with garages and/or built-on……

“Unfortunately, this Vrbo did not deliver . Hot tub was dirty, wiped down the dirt from the sides , toilet was dirty . We used the sofa bed, and I was lying on springs, the queen size bed, should have been replaced yrs ago. Windows were fogged up from moisture getting in and could not see out clearly. Needs serious updating.”

My constructive criticism…dirty floors, stained furniture, ants, spider webs, dead flies, living flies, shower was very old (big crack in the master shower…thought I might fall through shower floor), sloping floors throughout the house, hard to find (instructions made it very hard to find) mini blinds were jacked. “Adorable cabin in a perfect location just outside of Brookings. Easy access to the trails and beaches and only a 5 minute drive to get everything you need in Brookings. Perfect for a solo traveler or couple.”

“Basically a nice place, good yard. Adequate kitchen stuff, laundry room was nice. Particularly liked accommodations for pets. Had problems with lock, because door didn't close tightly. I liked extras, like games, books, spices, extra table, storage space for clothes.”

“This is a lovely, small cabin up on a hill with a beautiful view of the Rogue River. It had everything we needed for our one night stay. Just a note, the driveway up to the cabin is extremely steep and there is no flat driveway at the top, and no street parking. We did not feel comfortable parking our car there and were able to park it on the flat driveway next door with permission from the owner.”
