The hotel was very good. Clean, everything in good condition. Linens, bath and bed sufficient and clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Reception staff spoke English. Breakfast was eggs to order and plenty of other things that support. Couple of things should be noted. First: the hotel is a bit difficult to get to and taxis may not take you all the way to the hotel. If the taxi will not go all the way I suggest to go to the Plaza San Blas and then you walk from there. It’s not a long walk. If you have large or heavy luggage a different place may be better. Second: the rooms have radiators but they do not work all night. We found the blankets to be adequate but the bathroom will be cold in the morning. The hotel does supply hot water bottles. I’d stay again but do take the above into account when making a choice.

My son and I stayed at this property in Cusco for one night, and if I were to go back, I would stay there the whole time. From the location to the property itself to the service, it was wonderful. My room was immaculate and I had amazing views of the city off my balcony. The breakfast was equally amazing. There is a “fried egg bar” where we choose ingredients to have an omelette made. Along with the accompanying Peruvian buffet style breakfast, there were more than enough choices for anyone. The neighborhood was walkable and had many restaurants and shops and was a short enough distance to historic center to walk. This was our favorite hotel out of 4 hotels we stayed in Peru.

Gluten free bread on the breakfast spread people - game over this wins! Ambiance, cleanliness, day of massage arrangements, cozy hot water bottle to warm the bed when we arrived so late after some travel hiccups. Had a balcony room and it was a lovely spot to sit. Doors not soundproof, and sound carries floor to floor up the central stairs. If the hotel calls a taxi, they come right up, but if your taxi drops you off you might get dropped a block or two away due to narrow/one way/not necessarily for a car traffic roads. Delightful neighborhood for art/shopping/food.

This was a cozy and beautiful place to stay. The staff were very attentive and although there is no heat in the rooms, the hot water bottles were a blessing to warm up the bed. I loved my stay at Encantada Casa!

Great hotel in San Blas

This was the perfect hotel to acclimatize to the high altitude. Enjoyed unlimited coca tea and loved the hot water pouches at night to make the bed warm and cozy! Breakfast was good, especially the made-to-order eggs. They did charge a lot for drinking water and the hot tub use was too expensive to justify for a solo traveler like me this trip. I had the room on the third floor with the balcony. I’d stay here again!

We reserved the Encantada because of the views and payed extra for that but they did not acknowledge that. We were there before and after Machu Pichu as we complained we were given a better room the second time around. The view was very nice. Our first bathroom had ants and the second one was dirty. I did not like that they do not provide water in a place where you can not drink or wash your teeth with tap water. They sold the water bottles much more expensive than on the markets. The breakfast ladies were very nice but breakfast was a little bit overcrowded so you needed to wait for coffee or forks and spoons.

山の上にある素敵なホテル

狭い坂道をぐっと上った先にあるこじんまりしたホテルです。夜遅い時間に着いて、朝早く出発したためあまりコメントできませんが、パティオの目の前にある部屋に泊まりました。 広いとは言えませんがコンパクトで狭すぎないお部屋です。 必要なものは一通り揃っており、不便もありません。 フロントスタッフは 24h いてくれるので何かあれば相談可能です。 なにより一番素敵なのはパティオからの景色です。 長旅の疲れが一瞬で飛ぶようなクスコの街並みを見れます。

Juste une note constructive concernant l’insonorisation des chambres et le choix de la musique qui joue à la terrasse extérieure avant qui dérange durant une partie de la journée; on aime mieux entendre la musique typique du pays lorsqu’on va en voyage et non du boom boom américain populaire 😉. Le reste était impeccable!
