「It was a nice place for a family to stay and spend time together. Far from everything. Be prepared to not have internet or television at times, which is wonderful if you are trying to get away from it all. The kitchen was amazing!! So many fun gadgets and great for large family cooking. We spent lots of time playing pool, building fires and hanging out in the hot tub. Would go back again to rest.」

「The place was great. Room are big most had their own bathroom and fridge in them. Overall a great place for a larger family vacation. If I had one complaint it that it was about a 20 minute drive on gravel to get to the lodge.」

「We felt we were being watched the entire time. We were awoken around midnight to children banging on the adjoining door and wall. We could here crying and a child crying and stating "We are locked in this room and cant get out" As soon as i turned the light on in our room it went absolutely silent. We packed our bags early the next morning and left. I definitely do not recommend. 」

「We could not have been happier with everything! Our hosts were so welcoming and saw to every need. We enjoyed them so much that we shared a walk down their peaceful country road the night before heading home. The location was great for visiting Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, and the beautiful Black Hills area. It was quiet and we enjoyed many leisurely meals and drinks on the very private deck. We will definitely return if we are in the area and pass it on to friends travelling that way!」

「We had a lovely stay, Thank you.」

「We really enjoyed our stay here. Our host was always very responsive to my emails. It’s in a great location, close to Mt. Rushmore, Custer State Park, and of course, Keystone. The cabin was clean and stocked with everything we needed. We also enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub every evening!」

「We booked this property for the Black Hills/Rushmore portion of an epic midwest park trip with our family. So glad we did! We were able to watch the America 250 fireworks display over Mt. Rushmore vividly right from this property. How amazing! All while enjoying a 4th of July cookout from the property's grill and a cold beverage of choice without ever leaving the house. The house was great, and the host was fantastic and very communicative with any of our questions or needs. We had several...

「Everything was great and we enjoyed our time. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.」

「Such a wonderful, beautiful, unique property. Everything was clean and the location was perfect. It was just outside of Keystone on a beautiful piece of property where we saw deer and turkeys many times walking on the property. An added bonus was it was located very close to the 1880 train so that was a great surprise to see it go by in the morning. Loved it here and would definitely recommend!」
