「As locals it was a nice little get away from the normal humdrum. It was beautiful and a fun place and the “hot tub” is literally just that a tub for two with jets in it. It served the purpose. Only complaint I at all is that the A/C should be turned on before a guest enters the property if at all possible. Also the positioning of the AC unit above the bed wasn’t the greatest, I had to rig up something with a magazine and the wooden coasters to make it where the AC blew down on us at night. ...

The setting couldn't be more peaceful. The thick woods around the home make it feel like you are truly in the middle of nowhere. Exploring the property, especially the trek down to the river, added a sense of adventure for our family and we all had an amazing time.」

「Cabin was clean and well appointed. Road into location a bit bumpy with potholes but host gave excellent directions that helped finding. I think it may be more difficult to navigate route in the dark so recommend arriving during daylight. Area around fishing village was peaceful and tranquil and great for walks, sitting on the deck watching the lake and local wildlife, and it was a treat eating dinner by the beautiful view of Johnson Lake. 「We had the best time. We celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary, and first night away from our baby relaxing, unwinding, and reconnecting. The grill package was delicious and a perfect way to eat. The bed was comfortable, smores were delicious, and hot tub was the best touch! We would love to come back again. 」
