「The property looked nice and it was lovely having the parrots land on the balcony. The drinks in the room were very limited, the staff at reception were a bit rude, some of the machines at breakfast weren’t working and there was nobody around to tell. The guided tour was done by someone who didn’t speak English. The pool was unable to be used as there was an event on near it. On the website it said that dinner was included and we didn’t get dinner.」

When we arrived, we were informed there was a festival in town that weekend, and had to park at the train station two miles away. No way to drive in or out for the whole stay. 「I stayed there on business as I did not want to stay in Paris central, a very quaint little hotel with lovely helpful staff. Surrounding amenities are sparse but there is a nice little bar with attached shop, again friendly staff. I did eat in the hotel the first night and was given lovely homemade food with a beer. Breakfast is as expected with lovely warm bread and butter. Wi-Fi is hit/miss however on my second evening I was given a dongle for my room that worked perfectly well for my needs.」
