"This was our 2nd time staying at Blue Cottage :) We thoroughly enjoy this little lake house and feel very blessed to have the opportunity to stay here. It is a great place any time of the year! We love that there are kayaks and a peddle boat to go out on the lake—we bring our own fishing poles but the life jackets are also provided. The smart TVs in every room allow for your own preferred entertainment. Along with card and board games! It is also located only 10 minutes from Lake Livingston so you can go explore the offerings there as well. Down to the little things that really matter—I can’t tell you how many times one of us forget our toothbrush: the owners are generous enough to have disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste in the bathrooms! Along with other miscellaneous items like womens needs, other hygiene items, shampoo and conditioner, dish wash soap in the kitchen, ziplock bags for leftovers, laundry soap for clothes washing—these are the things that really, really mean a lot and make it feel like home during your stay. We always look forward to spending time here! Thank you for sharing such a great place with us :)"

"It was just an awesome experience. A cute house, my son loved it. We played games. It was clean with all of the utensils, and the noise at night in the reservoir was awesome! It was a great time! Hope y'all will let us come again!"

"The property was as described. Found the property clean. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies. There are plenty of linens and pillows, and comfortable beds. The location was perfect for our adventure to the Big Thicket. Also close to a small lake with a swimming area."

"Thank you for opening your home to my family and allowing us to make memories at the lake. We had such a blast with the boats, fishing, swimming, cooking on the grill, and hanging out on the patio. I am also so very appreciative of you allowing our puppy companions to tag along with us. The home is comfortable, with everything you need for a great vacation. The split design of the house gave our teenagers plenty of room to breathe and have a great time. We have now been to the lakehouse twice and can’t wait to come back!"

"This rental was extremely clean, tastefully decorated and was equipped with everything to needed to enjoy our stay. Communication was easy whenever needed. You can tell the owner cares about his guests and wants them to have a marvelous time. The backyard is wonderful with a beautiful deck, hammock, charcoal grill, paddle boards and ample seating in several areas. It was perfect for our family."
