Clean room. Confusing to access room. No employees on sight. No way to obtain assistance. Texting and calling were useless. Asked for batteries for tv remote, via text bc only way to communicate and no batteries ever arrived. Other guests had same experience.

The view from our one-bedroom suite on the 49th floor was amazing. The unit was super clean and the living space was roomy. Nice having a washer & dryer in the unit. Plenty of coffee and toiletries. Lots of restaurants in walking distance and close to the train for a short ride to American Airlines Center. Easy and safe parking.

Our stay was great! From the seamless check in to check out. Our room was very clean and spacious and came with more amenities than any other hotel I’ve stayed in. The elevators was a bit much to navigate but other than that it was an amazing stay! I would highly recommend staying here to anyone!

This high end apartment was perfect for my husband and teenage daughter, and had an incredible view of downtown. We loved its close proximity to many nice restaurants, as well as the tram. Hope to stay here again next year!

The biggest downfall was accessing the room for the first time after arrival from the airport. Do to the vague and inaccurate information on Expedia, There was no staff for the Mint House on sight after 6pm so I was stranded outside for almost 4hrs and almost rebooked a flight home. So that it’s clear the mint house is 2 floors (49th & 50th) inside this tower. It’s ran similar to an Airbnb (this is not a hotel) Outside of that I loved my stay and if I didn’t have this major hiccup it would be an easy 4.5 stars.

I’ve stayed at a nearby 5 star hotel and The Mint House was every bit as good, for a fraction of the price. This is an outstanding hotel in an excellent location with amenities. Our room was incredible.

I have enjoyed staying at the Minthouse In Downtown Dallas in the past. However, during my recent visit, the unit did not appear to have been cleaned. The restroom had towels on the floor, the bedroom was not cleaned, and there were dirty dishes in the living room. Consequently, I was compelled to find alternative accommodations late that night.

The first time we stayed at this property, it was delightful. We received an email a couple of days early, explaining the access process and offering to stock the kitchen. On arrival, an attendant greeted us, the room was prepared with a thoughtful note and the in room music was playing. Those elements helped make us feel welcome and set the tone for the visit. This trip, I had to contact the help line to get the pre-visit email (which was delivered at check in time) and the person on the help line sounded put out that I asked for assistance and seemed unhappy that I booked through Expedia. The rest of the visit was similarly disappointing. The room iron was scorched and would have ruined my business clothes had I used it without 30 minutes of scrubbing. The decorative bulb in the table lamp was broken and made the desk unusable. A variety of other annoyances, such as coffee that couldn’t be used in the in room coffeemaker and ridiculous amounts of noise from the small children in the room next door have taken this property off of our downtown Dallas lodging list. It’s a shame we have lost a unique and attractive lodging option.

Booked for an anniversary and started out horrible. Check in was at 3 arrived about 3:15 after figuring out parking and elevator situation and walked in the unit and it was a disaster. Bed not made towels all over the floor trash full. It was really disappointing being that I was trying to impress my wife. We were on a time crunch for dinner so had to change and get ready in a filthy room before they came in and cleaned once we left out. Other than that it was ok, view was awesome, location is great, staff was friendly and helpful but the furniture is cheap, the shower felt like I may fall through the floor and the beginning of experience just soured the entire experience of the evening. Wouldn’t stay there again.
