I stayed in January for 6 days with my 19 year old daughter and small dog getting to get my daughter settled in school. I did cook, do laundry and work at the apartment for the majority of each day. Wi-fi worked great - TV is Raku so you can only watch what you can sign into on your own accounts.
This is an old, apartment complex that has about 12 apartments that have been re-done as best they can with out a total reno so its a bit old and musty smelling. Most, if not all, the apartments in the complex are in a daily/short term, rental program so all kinds of people in and out constantly. You can hear every single move the people above you make. Plenty of parking on side and back of building inside the gates; however, the entrance gate never worked while we were staying there, it remained open.
The complex is centrally located in Dallas not too far off of the main freeway, close to all kinds of restaurants and stores in a transitional neighborhood with a few beautifully restored old homes, quite a few very run down homes and modern new builds, mainly 3 story townhomes. There is a large government housing complex 2 blocks over that is run down and there are several transients and homeless that wander the area but, I never felt unsafe. I walked our dog all over this neighborhood everyday and there are a lot of people out doing the same.
The apartment has great light in the den, which faces the street, and the light is good in the larger bedroom which you can see the Dallas skyline from the window. One of the bedrooms is very dark all day because it faces the internal complex walkway as this apartment is on the first floor of a 2 floor complex. Water pressure was great, over all it was pretty clean (I suggested a deep clean of rugs, fans and baseboards), beds are very comfortable but, need more/better pillows and it was well appointed other than a few minor things in the kitchen. Property manager responds in a timely manner. Pretty good for the price and the location.
