Safe Neighborhood

Check in was tough as locks had been changed. Sofa was too short for an adult to sleep on it. Blinds in Master Bedroom need to be replaced. Very nice condo in a great location. We would stay there again.

Great location!

We had a great stay. The price was nice and although it was a bit dated we would stay again.Very safe feeling neighborhood. We walked alot and enjoyed the area!

Joan and Jerry made it so easy to check and in and the property was very quiet and peaceful and clean as well. They provided a lot of amenities while I stayed here.

Nice accommodations

Very roomy and comfortable space.. Clean with nice linens and comfortable beds. Had to request a way to secure front door from inside but they sent someone right away to install a slide lock. Almost no water pressure in kitchen sink but otherwise well equipped kitchen. Would definitely rent again. Great location

Repeat Visitors to the Uptown Oasis property

Always a nice and comfortable experience each time we stay at the Uptown Oasis. This time was in Apt 1 which is very spacious. Other times we have rented Apts 5 or 6 upstairs. Also nice options. Very responsive property managers.

Perfect Location

This apartment was the perfect location for my stay in Dallas for a convention in Downtown Dallas. I was just minutes from the convention center and the route to the convention center was easy each morning. The apartment was also very close to some great areas for restaurants and shops. I especially loved meeting friends for dinner in "uptown" just minutes from the apartment. The apartment itself was very clean, well furnished and very spacious. The bed and the sofas were very comfortable. The Wi-Fi was great and I enjoyed having access to the DVR on UVerse. The only drawback I had was the noise from the apartment from above, though it was only bad the last night of my three night stay when the guests above were walking around back and forth between 2:00-3:00 a.m. Economically, this apartment was perfect for what I needed to avoid the high rates of the convention hotels. I would definitely consider staying in one of these apartments again one day if staying in the area.

Outstanding Property!

My family LOVED this condo! The location was amazing, walking distance to Trader Joe’s and lots of restaurants, and literally 10 minutes to everywhere we wanted to visit. The owners were very good to stay in contact and give great suggestions of what to do during our stay. I will keep this in my favorites and definitely use them again!

Location vs Accommodations

The property was in the location we needed but the accommodations were minimalist. In my opinion, it could use a few upgrades. The ceiling didn’t dampen any sound from upstairs. Pretty much every footstep and sound could be heard. Other than that it was a nice little place to call home for a few weeks.

Would book again

We stayed in the apartment for 2 weeks in December 2017 while visiting family in the M street area. We would definitely stay in the Janik's building again. Best part of the rental in the location in Knox Henderson. The apartment is old but clean and well maintained with everything we needed. Very spacious apartment with great closets! Our only disappointments were the size of the sofas in the living room, and the light shining outside the living room window, and the noise level in the building. Our plan was for me to sleep on the sofa, and my husband to sleep in the bedroom due to snoring issues. This did not work as sofas were too short and uncomfortable (I am 5'6") and the light shone in at night. I always travel with a box fan in order to block out noise while sleeping I was glad I had it because one does hear the neighbors both above and on the side. But in spite of the above, would book again!--

All the comforts of home!

The apartment was clean, attractive, and close to everything.The owners were great communicators, making check in quick and smooth. With a full kitchen and Trader Joe's right around the corner we were able to control our meals and spend time seeing the sights. I would love to stay again when it is warm enough to take advantage of all the outdoor activities nearby!

Great place, best location imaginable, and the hosts are supper hospitable and accommodating!

The owners of this wonderful property are the most accommodating you will find. This property is located in such a wonderful part of Uptown, Henderson/Knox area of Dallasd. You are able to walk to 20 plus restaurants with great night life, groceries, and most anything you will need for a stay. The Katy Trail is less than 2 block close for wonderful walks, jogs, and is the place to see people and be seen. Wonderful space! Cheers!

Comfortable, Great Location

We stayed at this apartment for 5 days while visiting family in the area. We found it clean and adequately equipped. The large bed was comfortable. It's an older property, but was certainly OK for short term stays as long as you don't require luxury accommodations. The location is excellent with many businesses and eateries within easy walking distance. We'll likely use it again for future visits. Thanks!

Very Nice One Bedroom Apartment - Fantastic Dallas Location

My husband and I, both in our mid 50's stayed at this property for three nights in late October. Our son lives in Uptown and we wanted a rental nearby. The unit is very nice - an older property but very clean and spacious. Wi-Fi was first rate and the location was within easy walking distance of many restaurants and shopping. Bed was comfortable (king size) and the living area had a large flat screen TV with tons of channels. Couple of observations: the parking area is small. We drove a large SUV (Ford Expedition) and getting it in/out was tight. Also, be sure to take a hair dryer - there wasn't one in the rental. Same with coffee. We bought a pound of coffee at Trader Joe's and left it for the next renters. It was a great rental experience for us - price was reasonable, the unit was accommodating and safe.
