Bed and bathroom were clean. Our dog was welcome. That’s all we really needed for a quick overnight roadstop. The hotel is definitely in need of updates, a proper cleaning and breakfast/ coffee were below par.

Upon arrival, we found the bed to be in an unacceptable state. The sheets, comforter, and pillows all had visible stains, which made the bed feel unclean and uncomfortable to use. In addition, the towels provided were also stained, raising further concerns about overall cleanliness and hygiene. Staff was very nice!

Bathroom tile was poorly repaired and missing grout. There was a stained hand towel left for us to use. In room coffee was terrible and lack flavor. The breakfast was disgusting eggs and potatoes, eggs was sitting in at least 1/2 of water and had smelt like the potatoes. Potatoes look like were a week old and been reheated several times. The good side the coffee in the breakfast was good just don’t drink the last bit of coffee from your cup or you may end up with a mouth full of coffee grounds. The sheets on the bed were clean but our king sized bed sits peculiarly high. Rooms need updating.

Stayed at hotel for one night on our way back to Michigan on our Florida vacation. Hotel was not bad but needed some updates. The smoke detector in our room was absent and we found it in one of the drawers. Also, hotel was just needed an update overall. Breakfast was okay. Typical breakfast for this type of hotel.

Calhoun La Quinta is a worn out property. The owner of this franchise should be ashamed. Two stars because the shower tub drain worked. TV did not work, AC did work, Ceiling in hallway collapsed down and water from tub or toilet was overflowing into a catch tub flooding onto the floor. Staff arriving for morning shift tried hard to get things under control. Gold start to her.

Property was old and not updated, and some things looked in poor repair. It seemed pretty clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was disappointing, few choices and no one tending to the breakfast. I would not stay here again.

The hotel staff were courteous and friendly. The room was clean, and the breakfast was acceptable. Hotel is showing its age, though there were signs of recent renovations. Some of the bathroom caulking needed attention. Bed was very comfortable. Contrary to some of the other reviews that suggested that dogs stayed free, I was charged $17 for one night stay. This should be apparent on the website, but was not. Overall, good value.
