"Der Checkin war einfach und ohne Probleme. Es wäre schön in der Mail direkt den Hinweis zu erhalten, wo der Schlüsselsafe, die Wasseruhr und der Stromzähler sind. Die Sauberkeit war leider nicht gegeben. Unter den Betten dreck, nicht gewischt, dreckiges Geschirr und unsaubere Kochtöpfe. Leider war auch die Wanne (Whirlpool) undicht, defekt und dreckig. "A truly lovely and completely renovated vacation home with a large fenced-in yard, perfect if you have a dog or small children. It’s a 1-km walk to a beautiful beach and 3 km to Spodsbjerg, where we highly recommend Spodsbjerg Kutterfisk. The house stays nice and cool, and there’s underfloor heating and a heat pump for when the temperature outside drops. The hosts are very welcoming and gave us tips on local attractions. "This is the nicest place I have ever stayed. If you are planning a trip to Lolland don’t look after any other hotels or B&B. Trust me, you will not regret. You will be relaxing in an impressive green garden in the countryside. Your children will also enjoy the possibilities of this garden. Just check their website and see. Rooms and apartments are placed in several different buildings that this gives you a feeling like you are actually staying in a summer house, not in a hotel. When you read or hear the story of the place it will also give an extra dimension to your visit. The owners are really nice people and will help you any time. The place is also suitable for celebrating birthdays, weddings, anniversaries or business arrangements."

"Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Garten ist wunderschön, gepflegt und riesig. Das alte Bauernhaus hat einen umwerfenden Charme, die Einrichtung schlicht aber geschmackvoll. Es ist alles für den täglichen Gebrauch vorhanden. Aus der Ferne betrachtet haben wir das Haus als Oase getauft, umgeben von hohen Bäumen, die vor Wind und Wetter schützen, fernab von Lärm und Stress.Wir würden dort jederzeit wieder Urlaub machen!"

Hotel Saxkjøbing

"Charming location, easily found from motorway. Historic building, could hear next door guest talking, luckily they didn't do that much, let alone snore. No TV in room so couldn't cast from phone. But maybe a good thing or we would have heard other room's TV too. No coffee /tea making facilities in room. Good and clean shower but bathroom floor flooded tot very wet from ineffective door seal. Upmarket restaurant on ground floor with 4 main dishes to choose from that looked/smelled v good. Given Danish prices, we went to burger/pizza place right across the hotel and facibg our room, as did many hotel guests .This luckily shut at 9pm . We had to catch an early ferry so took breakfast 15 min before start time. There were excellent choices, a wide variety, similar to Germany but with salmon too, as in Sweden. The food was laid out in rather small room and when the rest of the guest arrived en masse at 8 am, it was just too crowded. Especially with just one bean-to-cup coffee machine. Another bottle neck we avoided. Why not just have an urn?"
